Well kept site. Pleasant owner. All facilities cleaned regularly and a modern amenities block. Well lit at night. Secure and the tenants are very pleasant.

This is a perfect stopover to/from Holyhead port, 9 minutes drive. Before our arrival we were emailed by the owners to apologise as they would not be there to welcome us and proceeded to tell us where to pitch up. It is the most beautiful campsite, clean, tidy, quite, organised, with everything thought of. The owner came to our motorhome to welcome us personally, on his return. Would highly recommend this site and will definitely be returning. A great find.

Lovely site with little extra touches in the bathrooms. Great adult only site. Not good if you don't want to move your motorhome though, as there's not a lot locally. Bus service is good to Rhosneigr, which saved the day, but infrequent. £40 return in a taxi was expensive.
Site's response
Thank you for staying with us. The nearest village which is Valley is 1.3 miles away with pubs, restaurants, post office, Spar, chemist, cafe, takeaways and Stermat hardware store. We regret to hear that you were dissatisfied with the bus service. In the future, may we recommend you to download the App Traveline Cymru - Journey Planning which may possibly be of help to you. Thank you.

My husband and I spent a couple of lovely nights here. We arrived at the campsite and were immediately welcomed and shown to our pitch. We walked down to The Four Mile Bridge the first day before enjoying food and a few drinks in the Valley Hotel. The next day we took our motor home into Trearddur Bay; we got parked in the trailer park behind the Trearddur hotel, before spending the day at the beach and then enjoying a meal in the Driftwood Inn.

This campsite is a well managed, quiet, clean site with an excellent toilet block. The pitches are flat - our grass pitch had it's own power-point, drain AND tap. There is a lovely dog walking field, which contains agility equipment - our dogs loved this! Lots of people seem to use this site as a stop-over before catching the ferry from Holyhead, which is not far away. We couldn't find a local shop or pub in the village, but Valley is not far away, which has most things you might need. We used this site as a base for touring the island.

The site was adult-only and very dog friendly. Our dog loved the large exercise field, together with dog agility. The facilities were excellent, with good showers, fridge, freezer and laundry. The only slight drawback is the aircraft noise from RAF Valley pilot training.
