The Secret Garden glamping site at Guilden Gate is nestled just outside of Cambridge, with stunning onsite views from a wild flower meadow, to a fruit orchard and vegetable garden. Enjoy a cosy glamping burrow, furnished with a kitchen and dining area, and nearby fire pit and herb garden.

About the site

Guilden Gate is a rich interconnected smallholding 20 minutes from Cambridge. The smallholding generates energy independently from renewable resources and is a mixed mosaic of wild flower meadow, fruit orchard, vegetable and herb fields - as well as a newly planted vineyard. The accommodation here is an amazing earth-sheltered glamping burrow with real furniture, a cedar shingle covered camp kitchen and dining area with nearby circular fire pit and herb garden. The covered swing pod and open hammock hang in a wildflower meadow and the woodland spa area hosts your own private wood fired hot tub and solar shower!

Facilities in this private glamping site are for your sole use. These include a solar shower and wood fired hot tub, as well as a luxurious compost toilet. There is no power at the site, so light is provided by solar lamps, solar fairy lights and torches. There are plugs in the potting shed should you need to charge your devices.
