Get back to basics with the farm's spacious tent-only pitches and revel in the luxury of being a short drive from the Peak District, Ashbourne, Bakewell and more. Chatsworth and Bakewell are within an easy half hour. Dogs welcome. Sorry, no vehicles allowed on the field at any time.

I have been to Yew Tree Farm on multiple occasion, both my with partner and a group of friends and both times have been excellent. Lots of space for tents and amazing utility rooms - would recommend this location to anyone.

It was a very basic field with a shower/toilet block. We did not use the shower, but we used the toilets and sinks which were very clean and well maintained. The bins near the shower block were over flowing since we arrived. The car park is small and the not always easy to find a space. We used the site as a place to sleep as the site is perfectly situated close to lots of interesting places. We visited Heights of Abraham, Gulliver's Kingdom and Crich, all were within 30 minute drive. There is also a small play area down the lane from the campsite and Alfreton is a few minutes drive and has a large Tesco.

Had a lovely couple of days at Yew Tree Farm. I took my son and his friend so the fact that no cars were allowed on the field meant I knew they were safe from traffic. The views were beautiful...it was easy to get to as it was close to the main roads but down a little lane and you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. The park across the road was a huge hit. The facilities were basic but did the job and for what we paid, it felt like good value for money. A very relaxed vibe to the site with no check in or check out times which I really appreciated! We had a lovely time and will no doubt be back!

Just had a magical 2 nights at Yew Tree Farm. The site is so peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings, with lovely walks. Being able to have a campfire is a real treat. The facilities are clean and the hosts are lovely. We're already talking about our next visit 😊

Great site for our little cycle adventure, friendly welcome to site, nice that you can have open fires, you can buy logs from farm house. Great the field area is free from motor vehicles. Making it safe for kids to run around. Facilities are good yet basic, and are clean.

Lovely back to basics campsite, met some lovely campers. The hosts were lovely, toilets/showers clean all the time and always fully stocked with toilet roll. Washing equipment all supplied, close to shop and parks and lovely walks near by.

Had an amazing weekend great place! Toilet and shower block were always clean and stocked of toilet roll. Hosts are very helpful in recommending places to walk and local dog friendly places, great value for money! Will deffo be back very soon!

Fabulous, quiet and back to nature. Lovely walking routes for the dogs. Be aware, no cars allowed on camping field but there is a wheelbarrow provided. No problem in dry weather and added to the tranquillity. The toilet block and shower were kept very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Just texted the number to say arrived. Pitched tent where we wanted. Toilets clean, nice smelling hand wash. Can't comment on the shower as didn't use it. Washing up station is nice. Generally everyone followed the rules with no noise after a certain time. Would stay again, this time with a fire pit to use.

Even from before we arrived, Alicia was so accommodating. I had a bug, so asked to delay for a day and she still allowed us to have the three full days we had booked. The site was easy to find, welcoming, spacious and clean. Facilities were great, no complaints at all. Even being able to contact Alicia on the ring doorbell was so accommodating. From speaking to others who were camping, Yew Tree have great values in creating a memorable experience for visitors. Thanks so much again

Really nice site that feels remote but is actually very close to a nearby town with pubs, shops, etc. Lots of space to pitch so you can have your own space away from others and lots of picnic tables and fire pits already available to set up next to, as well as wood available from the hosts. Toilets are clean and get the job done, and there's a proper washing up station just outside them which is very useful. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and booking was very straight forward for a relatively big group of 8 people. No issues with noise or anything else. Dogs allowed for £1 a night and we had our gazebo for free. Would happily camp here again.

Wonderfully peaceful campsite nestled in a beautiful quiet part of Derbyshire/neighbouring Notts. Easily accessible with amenities I do not expect… hot shower, hot washing up facilities, proper toilets. Super friendly greeting and fellow campers were friendly. Local shops just up the road. Lovely pub and restaurant just a walk away worth a look into. Ideally located to access the Peak District. All this with a very affordable rate. My son loved his first experience of camping. Thanks ever so much…we'll be back. Rob and Cole.

Lovely campsite if you want back to basics in the middle of a field and pretty quiet. Was lovely just having a campfire, little bbq and quality time with my daughter. Good facilities, clean and tidy. Definitely go again when I need a reset.

The site was as expected from the website information. The staff were very helpful, facilities were adequate, it was nice to be able to have an open fire, individual camping areas were well separated, we will definitely revisit.

Me and my partner stayed at yew tree farm just for one night but it was lovely. Nice spot in a good location only 15min walk to the greyhound pub where we had a lovely meal. Met some nice people there too and just sat chatting around a campfire. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon! Facilities nice and clean and not far from tents

Lovely site, took my 10 year old son, first time camping with a campfire, he absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be going to Yew Tree Farm again!
