Why you'll love it at Stockbridge View

About the site

This quiet farm campsite is set deep in the picturesque Test Valley, an ideal location for walking and cycling. Located just off the A30, the site is also well-connected for exploring further afield with attractions such as Paultons Park Home of Peppa Pig World and Salisbury Cathedral within a 30 minute drive. There are a total of 50 non electric grass pitches onsite, welcoming tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Each pitch is an unlimited size, allowing up to eight guests each with plenty of room to spread out. For tourers and motorhomes, there are also 17 non electric hardstanding pitches to choose from. These measure a spacious 4.5m x 10m with up to eight guests per pitch. Anywhere you choose, you'll only be a few minutes away from the campsite's facilities. The site has fire pits available so in the evening you can light your campfire and toast some marshmallows - just as long as you don't ruin the grass! Firewood is also available to buy on site, with raised BBQs also permitted. Set by the River Test, spend your days strolling through the woodlands, passing tranquil streams and rolling chalk hills. You could also travel to the nearby historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury, or perhaps pop to one of the villages nearby, where you'll find beautiful thatched cottages and welcoming pubs. With no artificial lighting nearby, this site is great for those interested in stargazing. Four-legged friends are also welcome to join you for your stay, with up to three permitted per pitch. Please note, the site is located just off of the A30 so you may experience some road noise. There is also a clay pigeon shoot nearby so some noise can sometimes be heard.

Motorhome - Non Electric Hardstanding PitchesApr 2025

In my opinion Stockbridge View is an excellent campsite, especially for the money. The facilities were great, the site clean with great walks into Stockbridge and the countryside. The owner was even on site in the morning checking if everything was alright for people. A great touch. Our dogs loved it too, we will stay longer next time.

Marvellous
