About the site

Based on this working family farm, South Downs Rural Retreats at Gallops Farm is a peaceful, family friendly base. With the seaside town of Worthing just 15 minutes away, as well as the village of Findon a 30 minute stroll, you'll be well located to enjoy plenty of local attractions on the South Coast. There are four ensuite glamping lodges onsite. Two sleep four with a double bed and hidden bunk beds for the little ones. These are open plan, with the kitchen next to the main sleeping area. The kitchen has a twin induction hob, kettle, microwave, toaster and small fridge. There's also a cosy living space with a sofa and smart TV. Outside, there's a private terrace and hot tub, There are also two lodges that sleep five across two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has bunk beds with a pull out trundle bed. The well equipped kitchen has an oven, grill, twin induction hob, kettle, microwave, toaster, large fridge with freezer and a washing machine. There's also a large sofa and smart TV, as well as a private terrace with hot tub and sun loungers. For couples, the cosy ensuite Shepherd's Hut is a great choice. Sleeping two, the hut has beautiful views across to Chantonbury Ring and an open plan kitchen and living space where you can enjoy the views. The kitchen has a hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster and the living space has a 32 inch smart TV and a double bed. Outside there's a private terrace with seating and a hot tub. For all the glamping accommodation, your bedding is provided. There are also a number of cottages onsite, too. The farm is home to grazing cows, pigs and hens. The harvest usually takes place during August, with kids excited to see the activity and tractors in the fields. Conservation plots are set aside too, so it's a haven for wildlife, with a chance to see hares, deer, buzzards or even a barn owl. Sorry, pets aren't allowed.
