About the site

Don't fancy feeling like you're in a metropolis? This spot has the pleasant feel of a small site, with only a select number of pitches and distant mountain views to charm you. It's ideally placed both for the local beach, but also for the amenities of the village of Benllech and touring the eastern and southern edge of the isle. Touring pitches are set on hardstanding and grass, all fully serviced with 16-Amp electric, drainage and water hook-ups. There's even space for twin axle caravans. Dogs welcome, but sorry there's no tent camping here.

Ysgubor Fadog Caravan Site is open from 12/03 to 26/10 in 2025 and from 18/03 to 01/11 in 2026. Stay from £33/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

The California Hotel is an excellent pub, less than a mile from site. Also very nearby is the Storws Wen Golf Club and the pubs, cafe and more at Benllech are under two miles from the site. Watersports such as sailing and canoeing, as well as fishing, can be found off site in the area.

Have not been camping for 50 years and my first experience of touring caravans. Got 4 e mails before I arrived to advice me on directions and standards of behaviour etc. Great, clean facilities with caring staff. Really hard to fault, so would recommend to others. As an improvement, I would suggest a vending machine with crisps, sandwiches, Coke etc. Benllech is a fair stretch if you have forgotten to take these things back to the caravan. I enjoyed my stay!

Everything good or better. Very helpful management. Wonderful beach 1.5 miles away. Our grandson loved the goats (none of which seemed inclined to nibble fingers) and rides in the firewood trolleys.

Things to do on site and in the Brynteg area

These parts have top beaches, so do some strolling in the sands at Benllech and then spread out to discover many more within an easy drive - Red Wharf Bay is a great choice and Moelfre too. Both forested areas and a lovely beach can also be found at Newborough.

Next, get in the car and get to know Beaumaris beach and its historic castle for a day trip, fish for some crabs with the kids and enjoy fresh tasting fish for lunch.

Once you've popped over to Snowdonia (it's only a half hour drive!), the national park is not only beautiful but packed with unusual adrenaline options. Zoom along at ZipWorld or ride the waves at Surf Snowdonia.
