Great campsite, very welcoming with excellent facilities
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2024 Site was easy to find and pitches easy to locate. Very welcoming at reception and provided information needed for stay. Facilities were clean and well kept. Easy bus route into York, bus stop a 10-15 min walk from campsite and easy to locate. Would stay here again.

Fantastic stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Weekend away as a couple in our Campervan. Site was really easy to find and really clean and tidy, despite heavy rain. Facilities very good. We used it as a base to get into York city centre. Bus was about 10 min walk away and then about 40 mins on bus. We got an Uber back for £12.
Only gripe was the pitch was quite sloping and despite putting ramps under our wheels, we couldn't get the van level. All in all though, lovely stay and would definitely come back again, thank you.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Absolutely fantastic site - great facilities (especially with being in a campervan) toilet and shower area so clean and warm (we went end of October) washing/drying facilities and ironing as well as washing up water and waste disposal and games room and play park.
Fabulous service and great customer care- 5 + stars.

Great place, will stay again
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Oct 2023 Really lovely park with wonderful amenities and a great location. Had a power outage during our stay and the staff were incredible in making sure we were well cared for.
Lovely campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Super Pitches Oct 2023 Lovely campsite, very quiet, toilet and shower block was very clean. Although, the showers were a bit of a frustration as you have to keep pressing the button for the water.
There is a pub in the next village that serves meals and I can recommend the fish & chips.
All in all, a good campsite, and if we get the chance, we will be back.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 Highly recommend as a lovely, safe site surrounded by trees (downside if under a tree, as you can't get satellite TV).
Great clean, amenities, dog walk, cycle paths and eventually found the bus stop to get into York.
A revisit to York

All facilities were clean & very acceptable.
We have no complaints.
Good location
Single Axle Caravan - Hardstanding Super Pitches Sep 2023 This is in a good location for getting about York and surrounding areas either by car or bus.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were on a serviced pitch and this was our first time on this type of pitch. It was a good long pitch, on hardstanding. One small point, when we arrived we found that someone had not cleaned up after their dog, which was a bit of a nuisance.
The toilets and showers were clean, although they could benefit from an update. It would also be useful to have a bit more space in the shower.
Very quiet, great location
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Sep 2023 We wanted somewhere close to a park and ride. When we arrived, it was even better, as there was a bus stop 15 minutes away by foot. We used this to get to York Central and the railway station, where we had excursions to Harrogate and Knaresborough.
The campsite also had a special deal with a local taxi firm - a fixed £12 return from York. Definitely a great place to stay to explore, without the stress of driving and parking and a peaceful nights sleep.

Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Cabins Sep 2023 We had an amazing stay, everyone at the site was friendly and approachable. The pod was clean and had a helpful guide about to how use the facilities. We would love to stay again.

Great weekend stay
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Cabins Jul 2023 Brought my grandchildren for a weekend away in the countryside they loved it.
They thought the cabin was great nice and clean and a bed coming out of the wall was amazing to them.They loved playing football in the park and the games room.
Will come again, great relax and recharge.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2023 A lovely campsite which is neat and well maintained. It is quiet & a good location for trips into York. The shower block is basic. Security was good.
Lovely, quiet break
Glamping Cabin - Studio Pod Cabins Jul 2023 Stayed there for 4 nights. Very clean and cosy cabin. Nice and quiet campsite surrounded by trees and wildlife. Quite close to a park and ride into York and a Tesco to grab food to cook.
The bed folds down from the wall and has a very comfortable mattress. Comes with an ensuite as well, and a lovely warm shower. Has an outside deck which we only got to use once sadly due to the weather.
Would definitely recommend. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
