About the site

Beaming with wildlife and on the banks of Herefordshire's largest natural lake, this family friendly site is a calm base surrounded by woodland, just 25 minutes from Ludlow. The site is also only five minutes from the Welsh border, while Shobdon village is a five minute walk away for rural walking and cycling trails. There are 15 spacious, fully serviced gravel pitches measuring 6.1m x 7.6m, suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Each pitch includes a 16 amp hook up, chemical disposal point, grey waste drainage, TV aerial and cable TV connection. While onsite, guests can try their hand at fishing, enjoy a friendly game on the nine-hole golf course (both at an additional cost), or relax with a game on the petanque bowls field. For children, there is also an adventure park complete with a zip wire and BMX track. Should you get hungry, the Lakeside Bar and Bistro serves a selection of alcoholic drinks on tap, wine, light bites, homemade pizzas and more. There is also an indoor games room with a pool table, plus an outdoor terrace for sunny days. The park also has several woodland walks, nature hides, and generations of migrating birds with kingfishers, woodpeckers and owls often spotted! This site is home to a handful of cosy lodges as well. Due to the site's location off a B road, some road noise may be heard during your stay. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch, with a dedicated enclosed dog space, dog wash station, woodland areas onsite and nearby walks to enjoy. Raised BBQs are permitted onsite, though campfires are not allowed.

Pearl Lake Country Holiday Park is open from 01/01 to 02/01 and 01/03 to 31/12 in 2026 and 2027. Pitches from £32/night for 2 people.
