Located in the UK's first AONB, full of nature, history and plenty of outdoor water activities

About the site

Enjoy pitching up at this picturesque location, set in the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with diverse natural habitats, limestone coastline, salt marshes and award winning beaches. It is a great spot for a family getaway. Pitches are spread across six well-kept fields offering 160 non electric grass pitches. 80 of which welcome two campers and are suitable for small tents only, and the other 80 are slightly larger and welcome up to five guests in tents, trailer tents or VW style campervans. Pitches are non-designated, meaning campers can choose where to set up, with a rule of 5m between each pitch in place to ensure you aren't on top of one another. There is even a designated quiet field, so everyone is catered for. A multi-award winning site with fantastic facilities set in the beautiful village of Oxwich with panoramic landscapes, historical monuments and views of the Brecon Beacons, so there is plenty to keep you occupied in the area. This site is dedicated to welcoming families, and little ones are sure to love the play area with the adventure playground. There is also a seasonal pizza truck and pop up bar, so no need to fetch supplies! Contained BBQs and campfires are welcome, so campers can enjoy sitting around the crackling campfire under a starry night sky in one of the UK's AONBs. Dogs are also welcome as long as they are kept on a lead at all times and exercised off-site. Please note that the site sometimes hosts movie nights and holds events or live music. Therefore, during these times, the site may become quite lively. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away, the site might suggest an alternative weekend.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

I camped in a tent with my dog. The campsite and ablutions were immaculately clean. It was lovely and quiet surrounded by beautiful scenery. I just found the shower a bit difficult to work out, the water did not warm up and the shower kept stopping. But otherwise, I will definitely visit again.

Best campsite ever

Large Tent - Large Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Second year we've stayed here for bank holiday amd it was great again. Fantastic location really well set up and friendly staff. Pizza and band on the first night was a treat. Surfed at Llangennith (near beginner, but brilliant fun). We've stayed now with amazing weather as well as the downpour that was 2024. Would recommend this site, though I don't think it needs it as it was pretty full. Only quibble was water pressure was limited at peak times but easily avoided. Paddle boarding, sauna and ice cream at night. Oxwich bay also recommended.
