Lincolnshire Lanes is a family-friendly camping and glamping site set in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. Tents and tourers can pitch up on grass pitches with the option of electric, whilst bell tents, a forest pod and log cabins cater for those who prefer glamping. Keeps the kids busy with the onsite play areas, visit nearby Lincoln for the day or simply enjoy venturing out on a walk.

About the site

Located in flat and sheltered fields, Lincolnshire Lanes offers camping and caravan pitches as well as several types of glamping accommodation. The campground is set out in three adjacent fields, the family field, conifer corner and the rally field. Pitches are well spaced and offer plenty of room for children and adults alike to play - be that with goals, on the swings or flying a kite in the rally field. The site's glamping pod is set amongst conifer trees and sleeps four. It has a double futon and two single futons, as well as a decking area and its own kitchen and toilet facilities outside in its woodland clearing. Two bell tents are located in a private cornered off area at the end of the rally field, each with a double and two single beds and with shared access to a fire pit, picnic area, kitchen and toilet facilities. The site also has two Scandinavian-style log cabins, each sleeping six.

Camping, touring and glamping are available from 18th April to 6th October. Log cabins are open all year round.

Site facilities include a basic toilet block with coin-operated showers. Please note that the showers run on a meter using 20p for five minutes so please bring change with you. The site can change money during reception opening times, which can vary.

There is a laundry hut and a reception area with ice pack freezing. The reception area also sells a few treats and essential items including ice creams, sweets, fizzy drinks and disposable BBQs.

There's also a children's play area with swing and a climbing frame, as well as goals and play equipment, a den making area and craft play hut. The site also run Bushcraft and forest school workshops during the summer on certain dates. There are also large fields to play and exercise in.

There are several pubs within a ten minute drive including The Bottle and Glass and The Black Bull. There is a local village shop in Welton, less than a ten minute drive away, along with several takeaways and other smaller shops. Larger supermarkets can be found in Lincoln, within 20 minutes.

Site rules

Absolutely! Your furry friend is more than welcome onsite, with up to 2 dogs permitted per pitch or log cabin, and 1 dog per pod or bell tent. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the caravan.

Open fires are only permitted in raised fire pits. BBQs are allowed onsite, as long as they remain off the ground on bricks. The site offers a pile of bricks to prop up your BBQs.

Check-in for camping and touring is from noon until 8pm, while glamping guests can check-in between 3pm and 8pm. Departure is due before noon for pitches and before 10am for glamping.

Yes, Lincolnshire Lanes have a quiet time from 10.30pm to 7am and also ask that loud music is not played at any time during the day.
