Clear filters Lovely location
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2023 Well maintained campsite with great field for kids to play in, in full view of our tent. Not enough shower and toilet facilities for the size in my opinion. We went in off peak and had to queue for the toilet so I'd hate to think what that would be like in summer. Pot wash area could do with a freezer for freezer blocks for cool boxes and a couple of sockets.

We are pleased to state that we do provide more than the suggested number of loos and showers by Visit Scotland with an extra block behind the amenities for overflow and we do have plans to improve further. Our pot wash area is in the process of having microwaves and fridge freezers added. Thank you for your suggestions.
Fabulous site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Touring Pitches Oct 2022 We used this site as a stop over enroute home from Mull to Nottinghamshire, bonus was it was close to family who live in the area.
It is a new site and we were keen to check it out before using more often when visitng family. Lovely hardstanding pitch overlooking the Tweed- I believe the fog was too thick to see the river :) Friendly staff who were informative about site and local area
Only concern was the size of the shower facilites, were really tight for one wouldn't want to be sharing with children. Toliet and shower area were very clean, but being out of high season I anticipate usage being minimal compared to the height of the summer. Saying that we will look to book again for long weekends in the border counties

Lovely location Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jul 2022 Lovely location for a new campsite. Large pitch, plenty of space between tents.
However, toilet block far too small for size of site; perhaps this will be expanded? Looks like there's still work underway on other side of park? Also, needs more regular maintenance given numbers using the facilities. No loo roll in 'ladies' early Saturday morning, not ideal!
'Campers' kitchen' is also just a room with sinks in it; have been to some lovely places with some handy extras, like a toaster etc. Thought there might be a play park on site? Hopefully also part of the plans?
Seems to me this park is a work in progress at the moment!

Thank you for your review and we are so pleased that you enjoyed our lovely location. We do have more development phases due over the next couple of winters to include another amenity unit with showers/loos, a playpark and further accommodations. We don't have any plans to add anything to our campers pot wash facility at present.
Our loos etc are checked, cleaned and topped up at least twice a day so I am very sorry to hear that you had an issue regarding loo roll.
Camping stay
Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2022 We had a lovely stay at Coldstream Holiday Park. Suitable sized tent pitch, with clean washing facilities. The warden on site was amazing, and very friendly, ensuring we had all that we needed.
Gorgeous views too!

Large Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2022 My family really enjoyed the stay. The facilities area is well located and easily accessible on the site. Staff are really helpful and the facilities are well looked after. The site has great walks and adventures for the kids, and isn't far from the local village and Kelso for the park and restaurants, which is ideal. Will definitely be back!

Lovely new park
Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent Pitches Apr 2022 Unfortunately (but not unsurprisingly) the weather took a turn for the worse and I curtailed my stay by one night.
The park is spotless and very well laid out. I had an issue with my power lead and a very helpful onsite maintenance gentleman re-wired it for me and fixed it!
