Relaxed campsite, lovely owners

It’s a lovely campsite in a lovely location. The facilities were all clean and well looked after. The site was flat which made for great camping! The village itself has a small shop and post office and Hornsea nearby has a supermarket or two for essentials, although ice was hard to come by, so an on-site freezer would have been a great addition, to freeze our ice packs. EV charging nearby was a little more challenging than expected so don’t run too low.

Lovely campsite with helpful hosts

Lovely stay at Mill Farm. Toilet and shower block cleaned regularly, nice pitch on the field, not too many tents and vans packed in which was great. Good location for days out up and down the coast. We made use of the local buses to get to Bridlington. Host Judy was very helpful. We will visit again.

Basic and average, but clean and quiet

Nice big camping field, but no separate field for kids to play in. They just played in the middle of all the tents which was fine, but ours like to "go off'! Toilet facilities were clean but basic. No socket points in there either which is a pretty basic request. Pub in the village had friendly service and typical pub food - ate there both nights. Shame no campfires allowed as kids also like the marshmallow experience.

Camping trip to visit Bempton clifff RSPB reserve and Flamborough Head.

Beautiful site, very well maintained with great facilities. Lovely, friendly hosts. Great pub a few minutes walk from the campsite.

Our 2nd touring experience

Nice site, clean toilets. Slightly dated but they served their purpose. I must admit I did opt for the disabled toilet when it was quiet for a bit more privacy. The others were cubicles. The owner was very friendly and approachable. The field itself was well kept and we had quiet, generous plot. The beach was a good walk away due to broken steps on one route. The next day, I took the alternative way through Mr Moo's, I thought it was a lot easier and better. Overall, the site was good.

Our stay

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights. We were greeted by a lovely lady who showed us to our pitch and told us about the facilities. The pitch had lots of room and a hook up. It was a quiet place we could walk to the village /pub. It took approx 5 mins. The facilities were very clean. There was 2 showers which might be a problem if the site was full. It was handy for Bridlington, Driffield, Scarborough, Hornsea and Skipsea. Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. It was a reasonable price. We were on pitch 17.

Lovely stay

What a lovely welcome we had. My daughter and I were staying for one night to test our new second hand tent and it was her first time camping. Great little site, the ball field is perfect for children and the wash/pot wash facilities were great. I’ve marked down one point for cleanliness because we struggled with the toilet flushes. I’d definitely stay again after our very successful test run 🥰

Lovely Site - Wildlife Haven

Lovely site full of wildlife and wild flowers. The pitch was perfect, great size and mine was level, not busy with tents and so didn’t have any neighbours until my last night and even then nice distance away, other sites I’ve been pitched a lot closer! The dawn chorus was incredible, such a beautiful way to wake up and the site even has ducks in their pond. I came with my dog and the dog walk over the road was a real treat, Stunning tunnel of trees with birds singing and even saw a Hare in the field, there’s even seats for you to stop and take in the sights and sounds! Just a note the Reception is not in the site but in the house next door, quite a few people drive in looking for it! Plenty of toilets and I think 2 showers, lovely and clean and hot water doesn’t stop after 10 seconds either like a lot of sites, so you don’t have to hold your hand on it to keep the water flowing. I would definitely look to return to this site as it’s lovely.

Wonderful site!

Our stay was wonderful! Our young family had such a great time, lots of space to play, kind staff and spotless facilities. The pitch size was perfect, plenty of space to fit our family tent, table and chairs and car with room to play games. A highlight was the woodland walk located just across the road. The kids loved playing here and it was welcome shade on very sunny day. We will certainly be back in the future. Thank you

Quiet time

We enjoyed our stay. A quiet site. Showers not up to much, need upgrading. The disabled facility very poor but considering all that, we would go back again.

Thank you for your review. A few days after you left we had the showers serviced and a split o ring was replaced. We don’t have disabled facilities. but we do have have an easy access loo and wash basin.

Really lovely campsite

Spent the night Saturday! Really good quiet location! Facilities clean and had no issues! Thanks for letting us stay, we would definitely stay again!

Lovely peaceful site

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Mill Farm. It's a lovely quiet and peaceful site. We were pitched on the large field. Pitches are all around the edge here so there's plenty of room for children to play in the middle. There's a woodland dog walking area just across the road from the campsite. This was lovely, secure and had ample space to allow dogs off the lead. There are only two showers in each male/female blocks but we rarely had to wait. Facilities look quite old but they're lovely and clean. Skipsea itself didn't have a lot to do. The coast is eroding here so there's plenty are areas that aren't safe to walk. We used the campsite as a base and travelled to Bridlington, Filey and Flamborough Head.

Calm, clean and lovely

Welcoming. Very well maintained site. Lovely area for tents. Quiet and peaceful. Bins well organised and area clean and tidy. Everything easy - drinking water, washing up. Shower block very clean, plenty of toilets and wash basins. Showers adequate, plenty of hot water. If site had been full, I imagine you might have to wait to shower at peak times, but wasn't an issue on our trip. Would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely site

Stayed here for four nights. The site was well kept and the facilities were very clean. A quiet and peaceful site, with spacious pitches. The owners were very welcoming and the lady at reception told us about the local history and interesting walks. Will definitely be returning.
