Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2024 For me, the cleanliness was not good enough. Toilets and shower cubicles were not clean at all.

Fun place to be for a group
Large Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2024 Loved the location. Was our first time camping in the tent and we had a great time. The only thing was that there were stones below the grass which made it a bit uncomfortable for us to sleep, may be that's how it is.
But no complaints, would definitely recommend.
Lovely campsite

Great camping experience
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jul 2024 The best campsite we've ever been to! The area is absolutely gorgeous, the campsite well organised.
Plenty of space for everyone, wide range of setups possible, feels like wild camping, but with all the conveniences available. Bathrooms very clean and never too busy. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly.
Will definitely be back when in the area!
Amazing site in spectacular scenery
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jun 2024 My son and I had high expectations after seeing other reviews and social media before we arrived and boy, we were not disappointed at all.
In fact it was even better than we could have hoped for. The location is absolutely breath-taking, the facilities are well maintained and extensive and the staff were fantastic.
There are some great walks right on your doorstep, and a fantastic pub just a 10 minute walk down the road. We even had decent weather during our stay! We will definitely be returning as soon as we can!

Large Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jun 2024 This campsite is now one of our favourites. Plenty of spaces to pitch up your tent without being cramped.
Very clean facilities. Firepits everywhere available to use. Handy food van on site and an ice cream van that visits. Very friendly staff.
Remote enough to feel like you're in the wild but not too remote that you're out of the way.
Short & sweet stay, lovely location
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Jun 2024 We turned up later than we'd hoped so we couldn't fully experience the surroundings.
The staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. It's a bigger site than we thought it would be. However, it's well thought out and very peaceful. The facilities are clean and the showers are good.
There is also an excellent pub 10 minutes walk up the road. The only downside was the midge invasion in the morning!
There was a broad spectrum of people staying from couples like us, groups of friends, families, people in tents and people with campers.

Small Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches May 2024 Very welcoming. Very helpful. Fire pits on site and a short walk to Clachaig Inn for a beer and excellent food. Couldn't wish for a better secluded campsite in the true wilds of Scotland. Amazing scenery everywhere you look.

Very kind service, nice contact with the staff.
Maybe difficult to find pitch when you come back at the end of the afternoon and the new campers have arrived. Luckily we had a tent, but they were 2 times someone had parked in front of our tent with their campervan.
There was a lack of showers. Maybe a 2d sanitary block could be nice in another place as there were lots of people and it was dirty quickly.
For the price, for us, the difference was real : 4 nights camping elsewhere was £92, 4 nights in Red Squirrel was £120 with the same service and beauty of the site.

Cracking location
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches May 2024 Beautiful site, right next to the river, and with the mountains all around. Lots of birds (cuckoos and owls, while we were there) and deer, as well as the site kitten. Reception was helpful, and have facilities for hiring wood burners with logs, as well as chargers for phones, iPads etc. Only thing that would improve it would be a toilet/shower block at the other end of the site. A catering van provides hot food at the weekends, but apart from that the only eating places are a couple of miles away.

I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a "back to nature" experience. An abundance of fire pits and available wood. The site had a great vibe. Will be returning for sure.
Best site ever
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Apr 2024 This was the best campsite we stayed at on our trip!
Everything was top-notch: beautiful pitches, a stunning and convenient location, lots of walks in the area, clean amenities, and very helpful and friendly staff. Watching Noodle the cat scamper around was the cherry on top.
Would stay again in a heartbeat and will be recommending Red Squirrel to anyone camping in the Glencoe area!
Fabulous campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Apr 2024 Absolute gem of a campsite. The location is in one of the most awe-inspiring places on the planet and the campsite manages to provide everything that is needed, whilst still retaining the wild beauty of its surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities clean and the water hot!
There are fire pit locations and water points for fabulous fresh mountain spring water dotted around the site and even a super friendly campsite cat called Noodle!
I am sure we'll be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beauriful & peaceful
Medium Tent - Non Electric Wild Pitches Mar 2024 Stayed for 2 nights with my grandson.
The whole site is set out beautifully to accommodate everyone, no matter how you are camping. Surrounded by stunning snow capped mountains. The birds singing, woodpeckers, owl's having a chat at night all adds to the sense of the outdoors.
The amenities are great with plenty of showers/toilets. Washing machine & tumble dryer available also. Go see the lads at the burger bar. Great food, friendly & very welcoming. Overall, my first stay & not the last.

Excellent time
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Wild Pitches Feb 2024 We had a great time here. The facilities were brilliant and because it was off-season and the site was so large, we were able to pitch up in a nice quiet corner by the stream and let our dog have a great time in the water!
