In the heart of the Eden Valley, perfect for exploring the Lake District or North Pennies
Nestled on the banks of the River Eden, with surrounding views of nature
Luxurious glamping options, each with a private wood-fired hot tub
This riverside camping and glamping site is less than a half-hour from Carlisle - but the true attraction comes from the surrounding nature. You can enjoy a refreshing wild swim in the River Eden, but if you'd rather stay dry, the Lake District is home to many stunning walks. Only ten camping pitches are set in the farm's beautiful meadow, just a few yards from the river with plenty of space for the kids to play! Each comes with your own fire pit for the evening campfire with eco-friendly facilities nearby. There are a feast of quirky glamping options, ranging from cosy and beautifully furnished glamping cabins to authentic gypsy caravans. Each glamping accommodation sleeps three-four, has a fully equipped kitchen (indoor or outdoor), and even a private wood-fired hot tub to soak in. Glampers also have their own private compost loo and hot shower. The Wigloo and The Lantern House are unique wooden cabins, taking a twist on traditional pods. Described as a yurt with a skylight, they are light and airy with ample insulation. Giving the nod to the local Cumbrian farming heritage, choose from the two shepherds wagons, The Herdwick and The Swaledale. The Croglin Yurt is a toasty haven for glampers, packed with vintage and upcycled details to ensure you enjoy a glam break. For a more romantic retreat for two, opt for Evelyn, the gypsy caravan that sits right on the banks of the river in a very private space. You might even catch a glimpse of the elusive otter when unwinding in the wood-fired outdoor Japanese bath hot tub! Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Camping is available from 1st April to 30th September. Glamping is available from February until the end of November.
