About the site
You'll find various pitch types for camping and touring over three acres of level, mature landscaped grounds with very good drainage at Parkland. The site is surrounded by natural hedgerows, a haven for wildlife, looking out over Salcombe. Just off the A381, there's easy access to the rest of the surrounding area. Tents, caravans, motorhomes and RVs are all welcome, along with glamping options.
Well established, the park has been a base for campers since 1971 - in fact the owner's grandparents started the first site in the South Hams area, and it's been going strong ever since!
Treat yourself to super pitches, with fully serviced connections and 16 amp electric, across grass and hardstanding or upgrade to a deluxe pitch with a private washroom.
Great for nature lovers, this is a place where primrose and stitchwort flourish in pretty hedgerows, seasonal flower beds are carefully grown and resident wildlife often visits.
Stay in the cosy glamping pods, equipped with a double bed, seating area and kitchen. One of the pod types has an ensuite toilet. There are shared facilities nearby available for all the pods.
Try a couple's break in Estuary View, an attractive shepherd's hut with a double bed, sofa, radio and TV - and it's nice and warm thanks to central heating. Just a few steps from the hut is your private shower, toilet and a mini kitchen with a dining area.
Sorry, no dogs allowed.

A note from the site themselves...
Established in 1971, I have been running the site whilst living here too. Camping is part of the family heritage, with my great grandparents starting the first campsite in the South Hams area. We pride ourselves on this and strive to provide guests with an authentic, traditional yet modern camping or touring holiday.
We've now diversified to include glamping and more modern facilities, along with pitches with private washrooms - not sure what my Grandfather would make of these changes, but hopefully you'll enjoy them!
The camping paddock offers individual camping pitches, each approximately 9m x 9m, backed by a natural hedgerow and sided with lollipop fencing. Each pitch includes your own colourful garden, water tap, 16 amp electric and grey waste drainage.

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Super PitchesApr 2025
This is a beautiful site with such lovely, helpful owners.
As I'm disabled, we were placed close to toilet block which are like those in a 5* hotel. The 24 hour shop has everything you could need. The Cowshed lounge, where you have a selection of beers, coffee and tea facilities, a very long dining table kitchen area, big comfy couches, huge tv, use of computer. If you want to go to different areas to look around, there's a bus stop just outside site.
It is an adult and no dogs site. The owners are cat lovers. My kind of people.
Each pitch has a lovely clean area and has picnic tables. We were the first motorhome to use the new grey and fresh water dump and it was really easy to use. We will definitely be returning to this site. The people on holiday were all so nice and friendly, who gave us advice as we are complete newbie's to motorhoming and our 1st site for pitching our motorhome campsite.
Oh, by the way, they also have pods and cottages if you don't have caravan or motorhome.
P.S. thank you to owners, who left Easter eggs for each pitch that was there.
Amazing campsite
