Abbot Park is a small campsite is on a 120 acre family run hill farm within the stunning Lake District National Park. The farm offers stunning views and the chance to see animals and be part of a working farm. The location couldn't be better for hill walking, hiking, cycling and exploring.

About the site


Located on a working farm, Abbot Park offers the chance to get up close to animals and explore the local surroundings. Cows, horses, sheep, ducks and chickens are all on site, and their fresh eggs and milk can be tasted in the tasty farm cafe. Pitch up on grass and you'll be rewarded with stunning views across the Lake District and Furness Peninsula. There are two camping barns, with personal facilities, and a big camping field for tents.

Being right in the heart of the Lake District, the opportunities for walking, hiking and climbing are numerous. The park is situated between the famous Lake Windermere and Coniston Water, where numerous sailing, kayaking, swimming and boating activities are available.

Only 15 minutes away is the Lakeland Motor Museum, whilst a 20 minute drive will take you to Roudsea Wood and Mosses National Nature Reserve.
