Nestled in the beautiful Hope Valley area of the Peak District, Laneside Caravan Park offers a great base for days of hiking and exploring. Welcoming tents and tourers, there are grass and hardstanding pitches with adult only areas too, plus a shepherd's hut and static caravans for glampers. Onsite facilities include a shop, dog walk and football field, with Peak Cavern, Bamford Edge and Ladybower Reservoir within a ten minute drive too!

Just returned from another short break at Laneside in one of their beautiful rental vans. Fabulous facilities, very clean and well cared for and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Location is ideal for use as a base to visit local attractions or just use as a chill out in the peace and quiet. Definitely be back soon.

Absolutely perfect site for our family camping trip. Facilities were exceptionally clean and the family shower rooms were second to none. The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced, and there was an added bonus of some external catering vans over the weekend. The site has a quiet rule after 10.30pm and this was really well adhered to. Late night trips to the toilets were a breeze with lighting meaning there was no need for torches. Thoroughly recommend and we are already planning our return trip.

Everything about the site ticks all the right boxes for my wife and myself and the shepherds hut was the icing on the cake, perfect for our Sapphire Wedding Anniversary, nothing more to say.

Had three nights at Laneside and was great. Staff are friendly and helpful, location is great and site was lovely, clean and well set out. I'm rebooking for the summer holiday, had a fab time.

Had a lovely stay over the bank holiday. The site is a great location for visiting the attractions in High Peak. Staff friendly, clientele friendly and facilities cleaned regularly and modern. Only issues were high prices of food and drink, camping area a bit cramped when at the back of the site, with no toilets nearby. No playground for the kids and Wi-Fi in and out, but would definitely recommend a stay at Lakeside, we will return.

Wonderful site extremely close to Hope and walking distance to Castleton. The surrounding area is spectacular, and with bus stops outside the site, there are lots of places to visit. The open top bus to Chatsworth is well worth a trip allowing you to see the amazing views. The site staff are really friendly and the shop is well stocked. The only slight criticism is that the facilities block can be a fair distance away depending on where your pitch is located.

All round great site. Very friendly staff and the location is spot on. Facilities are clean and well looked after. The added bonus of the drinks bar and food at the weekends was a very welcome bonus. Would highly recommend.

This was our first time at Laneside Caravan Park and it did not disappoint. A beautifully kept caravan site in a nice location, very quiet and peaceful. It was nice to be able to walk into the village and plenty of walks nearby. We would highly recommend this site x

Despite its huge capacity, it was a very quiet stay on FA cup final day! Well, I think my star ratings say enough. I wouldn't normally go for such a large site for fear of noise and lots of people. But this was a relatively last minute booking close enough to Castleton for great walks and hikes without having to pay for car parks. Very impressed.

Great site very quiet alongside river setting and fab location for many peak attractions and walks. Easy walk to local village and town, super little shop and fantastic shower blocks. Staff friendly and helpful. Will come again.

Fabulous site really clean all the pitches are tidy. Toilets are spotless. Loads of pot wash sinks and a dog wash. Visiting pop ups includes a bar, chippy and an onsite butty place open in the mornings. Can't fault it. Short walk into Hope and a short walk to bus stop and train station. Great place to stay, highly recommend.

It was our first time taking the campervan out and the experience was great. The welcoming, the facilities and location were excellent. The toilets and shower block were spotless, shower nice and warm. A short walk in to Hope with a couple of pubs and a lovely curry restaurant, who also deliver. Also, such a nice walk through farmland to Castleton. Would definitely come back.

The pitch we were given was near to the main road, although the caravan did seem quite sound proofed. We would like to try a pitch further back next time please in the adult section.

Thanks for the 3 nights. The showers, toilets and washing up facilities were very good. It was also useful to have a fish and chip van on site!

Nice site, very clean, very quiet on the site, but plenty of noise from the train station and road, which goes on through to late at night and then very early morning. We were on a gravel pitch, which was large enough, but too much pressure on the jockey wheel when first manoeuvring on, sinks into the gravel. Privacy between pitches not very good, would say over priced for time of season, but we did have a good stay, not sure one I would recommend mainly due to price.

Quick one night stopover, we are newbies and still getting to grips with our recently acquired vw campervan. Laneside has been the best site we have stopped on so far for facilities and cleanliness and with it being right in the middle of the Peak District, there is plenty to see and do. We will definitely be back for a longer stay 👍

Friendly family campsite with clean facilities in a good location. Enjoyed a two night stay during the Easter weekend. No problem with check in. Was directed to pitch. Facilities very clean. Had drinks and food vans arriving morning and night in communal area if you want to go a relax. Everyone quiet after 10:30pm. Would come again with the children.
