Great stay

All good apart from internet connection - had to walk to clubhouse every day to book swimming sessions. We were some distance away, so it was a commitment walk! Annoying having to book sessions, but it's busy, so I do get it. I normally switch my phone off on holiday, but needed it to book sessions. Reception staff very helpful though. Other than that we had a great time. Bus into Dawlish was great. Entertainment was nice for the grand daughter. All in all recommended for a fun family stay. Thanks :)

Great family camping site

First time visiting so didn't know about the app for booking activities. Some activities were only book only the day (all fine) but some were pre bookable. The pre bookable ones that the kids wanted to do were already booked so they couldn't get on them and we didn't know beforehand about them so they missed out on a few things they really wanted to do. We paid for WiFi but it was so shockingly bad, using your phone signal was better. It was always dropping out and the speeds were terrible when it did work. So that felt like a waste of money. Everything else couldn't fault. Was clean. Accessible. Friendly. Great facilities and loads of things available to do and the kids had a ball. Would definitely go again but this time pre book the popular activities and not buy additional WiFi.

Lovely campsite

Lovely campsite. The outdoor pool was great and had table service. Toilets were always clean. Would recommend.

Clean with good facilities

We arrived and was told we had the choice of where to pitch as long as it was a grass pitch. Other campsites I've just been allocated so this was great to be able to choose. Water, shower, toilets and washing up facilities close by in each field/area. The bathroom and washing up areas were really clean. Toilet sinks couldn't wash hands properly as I needed to hold down the tap or fill the sink which to me is a waste of water. We didn't use the club house or any of the shops but good knowing they were there. We used the pool which you have to prebook a slot which is good so you know it won't be full when you turn up. Could have a bit better signage for sections to the path which takes you to the beach at Dawlish Warren.

We loved lady miles

We had the best stay and would recommend also would return, clean, great place, great entertainment from the marquee bar!

It's a yes & a no from us!

Yes: It's definitely a value for money site for families with young children. There seems to be non-stop cost included activities throughout the day. The staff are all incredibly efficient; the front desk were run off their feet & sadly, had to deal with a rude person, but couldn't have been more professional & helpful to him and his family. A big shout out to Holly receptionist, who was very helpful to us when our app wasn't working, emails weren't sending, so we couldn't book them. In the midst of rude customers, she went all out to sort us out, it was greatly appreciated. Bathrooms with lots of hot water, immaculately clean, a lovely site. My only reservation; having two teens, I didn't feel it was value for money. We stayed 2 nights camping which cost £200.00. We had a 3 man tent, 1 adult and two teens (13 & 15 years). Apart from the pool (which is restricted to 50 mins slots, once a day) & evening entertainment, it was very expensive for what it was. Based on that alone, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with only teenage children. It doesn't quite look like the pictures online, it's very tired looking in real time. Overall though, great place, friendly helpful staff.

Our first time - loved it!

Took my daughter (15) and son (11) for 4 nights camping. Loads of large pitches available in different areas of the campsite. Lots of stuff to do (we were lucky with the weather), outdoor pool, indoor pool (highly recommend the water assault course). We stayed on Marquee field next to the marquee which was great for love music, food and drinks and always some kind of activity going in. Location is 5 mins drive from the beach. It's a bit of a hill if you walk, but many people did. Also close to the Exe cycle trail, which I took advantage of.

A bit run down, unfriendly staff, unclean

The part I found the most disappointing was the attitude and unfriendliness of most staff. I don't know if it's the norm for the younger generation, but almost all staff were young, poor attitude, not wanting to be there, and not caring about the holidaymakers and especially the children. They let the children ride bicycles on the road 🛣️ but nowhere else, claiming a safety hazard, yet it's a holiday park and there are prams, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. I really don't see the difference, not unless a child was behaving recklessly with their bicycle, which I didn't witness. Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time as we enjoyed our holiday, but I wouldn't visit Lady's Mile again. The pool timing rules are too strict, you are allowed one booking per day of 50 minutes and that's all. It's just not long enough and the fact you can't re-book at least one more slot is very disappointing. I searched prior to booking and this wasn't mentioned. Overall, the holiday park markets itself as the best and it's definitely not, it needs a lot of TKC and deep cleaning. The breakfast is poor, with anaemic eggs, a grizzle sausage and cold beans. It's a no from me.

Our rules regarding bicycles and other wheeled equipment are in place for the safety of everyone using the park. We appreciate they may sometimes feel restrictive, but with pedestrians, vehicles and children all sharing a busy holiday park, safety has to remain our priority. We also understand your disappointment with the 50-minute swimming sessions. During busy periods, these sessions help us manage pool capacity safely and give as many families as possible the opportunity to swim. Finally, we’re sorry that you felt areas of the park required further attention and that your breakfast was below the standard you expected. Your comments regarding cleanliness, food quality and the overall guest experience will be shared with the relevant teams. It’s disappointing that you wouldn’t choose to return, but we appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback.

Not great!

On arrival, we were greeted with an older, angry looking lady. Her first action wasn't a smile or a welcome, but slapped on the desk a map which she hurriedly marked in felt pen a cross and her words, and I quote, "you don't go here!" She then said "don't lose these straps for wrists or £5 replacements" then "don't download electric app but you get electric from this app!" On leaving she barked, "did you turn electric off?" We have stayed at loads over the years but won't stay at this one again.

Our team do need to explain important information at check-in, including where guests can pitch, wristbands and how to activate and manage the electricity supply. However, this information should always be communicated in a friendly, welcoming and helpful manner, and we’re disappointed that this wasn’t how you felt it was delivered. Clean, family friendly site

Very lovely family friendly site. Very clean and tidy. Great for dogs too.

Highly recommend

What an amazing place. Dont expect 5 star but if you want to enjoy a long weekend with the kids or friends its brilliant. Staff were friendly and the shop I thought the prices were really reasonable for an onsite shop.

Good family site

Facilities were good and clean. Also, great for young families. On the downside, certain parts of the park had tents crammed in next to each other. Also, no complimentary Wi-Fi is a bit of a joke for a site this size. We would stay again but only because we were able to stay in a quiet dog walking field and not the main one.

A nice long weekend break

Decided to cram-in a weekend break at short notice. Easily booked online via Campsites.co.uk. Pleasant welcome and good choice of pitches. Sorting out how to activate the electricity supply (need to download an app!) was a pain, but the 8kw/day allowance was double what we actually used, so no extra payment was needed. Indoor pool was bigger than anticipated. No showers in changing room. Sauna was great, but steam-room not in service (shame). On site shop stocked all basic requirements, but Sainsbury's only 10 minutes walk from the site.

We stayed there twice during our trip to Cornwall

The campsite is excellent, well maintained and clean with all the facilities; shop, restaurant etc. The restaurant is nice - even though due to the adjacent stage, it can be quite noisy when performances take place. The meal we had was good. Staff was nice and helpful.

It's not what I expected

Upon arrival, it wasn't very clear where I was supposed to park the caravan, so ended up parking in the middle of the car park. The receptionist gave me a map of the site and circled on it which fields I could set up on. I was thinking I'd be given a pitch number, but had to find my own pitch, which wouldn't have been too bad on a normal day, but this was the bank holiday weekend, and the place was a sea of tents and caravans. Lots of children running around and riding their bikes, which is what I expected to see. The problem was having to drive down dead end drives, only to find what looked like an empty space, which wasn't. So, having to go back up the way I came in with the caravan on the back was a nightmare. After 4 attempts, I found a space. Great. On site entertainment was great and the food was nice. Showers were nice and hot and powerful. Once I'd got set up and settled in, I had a nice time, until I'd gone out for the day, only to come back and find my deck chairs had gone, including the one situated under the caravan. I didn't bother to report it as I don't see what they could have done to resolve things. I will not be returning.
