Family and dog friendly campsite in the Kent countryside, Turners Folly Field is ideally located just 25 minutes from Canterbury. There are a range of off-grid accommodation options from large grass pitches for tents, or for those wanting less hassle there are bell tents and Emperor tents. Betteshanger Country Park is great for walking and cycling routes only ten minutes from the site, or the coast is reachable in just 20 minutes!

We had a fantastic stay here, the facilities are new and clean. The hosts Sara are Gary were very welcoming and it's a great base to stay and explore the Kent coast. Having no electric wasn't a problem as we have our own power station. We will definitely be back.

A very quiet, green site surrounded by nature and with a gentle walk into the village. Couple in charge are very friendly and facilities are clean and efficient. It would be great to have a small freezer for cool blocks for those of us who rely on the old fashioned cool box system.

This location is new and was excellent. The facilities were all new and super clean, I would highly recommend this site for people who want to see Canterbury and are their way back from France.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Super facilities and helpful instructions provided for our late arrival. Facilities amazing, well thought out and very clean Convenient for Sandwich, where we paddleboarded, Joss Bay and walking into Ash (local village).

Seasoned campers, but first time glampers, we really enjoyed our stay here. Facilities were excellent, hosts were really pleasant and helpful, tent was very clean and just about everything we needed was provided. Perfect for a one night getaway without the faff of hauling our tent and kit out of the attic, lugging it down there and then putting it up. Oh, and the luxury of sleeping on a proper mattress - heaven!

We stayed here with our 2 grandchildren in one of the bell tents. I must say, I was a little apprehensive as one of the children is a baby, but I can honestly say it couldn't have been made any easier. The hosts are lovely. The tents are beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need for camping. The facilities are the best I've ever seen. Very modern and spotlessly clean. The views from the tents are beautiful. Thank you for a really lovely time.

Great location for travelling around this part of Kent. Lovely views looking over the countryside. The tree line provides some shade and privacy from the glamping tents and road. The facilities were spotlessly clean and as site has only been open a few months all new. Would not hesitate to recommend or go back.

We had a very enjoyable stay in our tent. The camping field is enormous with a stunning view to the south over open fields. the hosts could not be more helpful and were keen to take on board any small suggestions. it is very much a "get away from it all" site with quite basic but spotlessly clean facilities. great to be able to use a barbecue and fire pit (off ground). the site is well placed for visiting Sandwich and Deal and some lovely villages nearby. we will be back!

Gorgeous views and generously sized plots. The site gently slopes to the south, so each pitch can soak it up all day. Facilities are functional and clean. Soil is pretty compacted, which is great for campervans and our trailer tent, but if you're sleeping on the ground definitely pack a decent mattress. Good central location for activities; about 10 minutes away from Grove Ferry if you wanted to canoe, kayak or paddle board, 5 minutes from Whitemills aqua park for wakeboarding and Sandwich and Pegwell Bay are just up the road- all surrounding lanes are great for cycling (it's on the route of Le Tour de Sandwich). Can highly recommend and we'll be returning soon.

We booked this campsite very last minute and what a lovely find it was! We had a fabulous stay at Turners Folly, the campsite was very well run with hospitable hosts. The campsite was quiet and in a good location near to Sandwich, Deal and other local amenities. We will definitely return!

Nice site, well organised with well spaced pitches. Lacking a washing up area, but the showers were excellent, and the portaloos abundant. Nice owners too.

Wow!! This place is the best campsite we have been to. Toilets and showers immaculate, Sara and Gary were so lovely and on hand to help and chat, such lovely people. We were given a lovely size pitch with the most amazing view of the countryside. Really good site, full of families, very quiet, by about 9.30-10 o'clock it was silent, which was good as the fresh air had us all in bed by 10. We found can amazing spot to kayak and paddle board on grove ferry road for free 🙌🙌 We will be returning again next season, thank you Gary and Sara what a gem you have created, thank you for the wonderful Kent memories ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Loads of space, even on a busy Bank Holiday weekend. Owners were very welcoming. Shame there weren't any fire pits for hire, but understandable given the recent hot weather. Great location - we took a day trip to the beach, and walked to the local pub.
