About Glamping at Greendale
Luxury glamping site for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, located in the Ribble Valley with stunning views towards the Yorkshire Dales National Park and famous three peaks. There are three pods named Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent. Each pod can accommodate up to three adults or two adults and two children in a king size bed or an optional sofa bed. All bedding and linen is provided. The pods are furnished with a well-equipped kitchen that has a toaster, kettle, oven, hob, sink and all cooking utensils and crockery. There's a comfy sofa and Smart TV for relaxing. The ensuites are complete with a toilet, shower, sink and heated towel rail. Outside, you'll find your own private terrace with seating, a fire pit and incredible views, perfect for those summer evenings. Dogs are welcome onsite as long as they are kept on the lead. Be sure to say hello to Skye, the owner's black labrador! The site take pride in the sustainability and each glamping pod is provided with 'Faith in Nature' refillable shower gel/shampoo and hand soap.
Glamping at Greendale is open all year round.
Each pod has it's own ensuite with a shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. Additional facilities include WiFi and private fire pits.
There is also an onsite shop selling breakfast bundles, frozen homemade meals, homemade organic bread, eggs and more. A ten minute walk will take you to the Assheton Arms, great for evening meals.

I wish we could have stayed longer. As parents to two small children we wanted one night away together for peace and quiet. This place was perfect. The hot tub was easy to use, under cover and with stunning views. A perfect way to relax after a long hike. The pod was incredibly well equipped, spotlessly clean and cosy warm even on a very wet and cold March night. It was better than staying in a soulless hotel room that's for sure! The only thing missing was a hairdryer so I'll make sure to bring one next time. We had a lovely meal at the Assheton Arms and a fabulous breakfast at the gorgeous tea room the next morning. The food in both was of a very very high standard for the price. We will definitely be back.

Just a ten minute drive away is the ruins of an early medieval castle, Clitheroe Castle. This expansive estate stretches along the west side of the Pennines and is perfect for walks.
Venture to nearby Downham, famous for being the set for several TV series, with a picturesque town square and quaint market.
The Tolkien Trail is just a 20 minute drive away and is one of the most popular walks in Lancashire. A circular route that is 6 miles long, it begins in Hurst Green, a small village in the Ribble Valley.
