About Intake Farm
Set on a small, family-owned farm, this site is ideal for a retreat to the Staffordshire Moorlands. For camping, pick between meadow and woodland pitches, and for glamping, you have the option of The Lazy Cow Wagon or the renovated White Cloud Bus. The five non electric tent pitches are spread across the site's fields, meadows and woodland to ensure you have a peaceful stay. The site is suitable for tents only, unfortunately the site cannot accept caravans and motorhomes. For glamping, you have the option of the restored showman's wagon that sits in a secluded, peaceful area of the site. The wagon sleeps four with a double bed, futon for two, a cool box, small hob, internal shower, log fire, outdoor dining area and it's own toilet just outside. For something different, the eye catching glamping bus sits on the edge of the woodland. The bus sleeps four with a double bed, two single sofa beds, a wood burner, eco toilet and shower along with a kitchen with a gas cooker. The bus has its own outdoor space with a seating area, BBQ and fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows! When staying in either the wagon or the bus you will be provided with a full English breakfast with eggs from the farm. You can request cereal, croissants and toast and have access to fridges in the farm yard. Dogs, with a maximum of two, are welcome at an additional cost. Fire pits and campfires are allowed. Limited fire pits are available and there is firewood available. A Freedom Camping Club certified site.

For campers, facilities include shared toilets and showers. Glamping units have their own ensuite toilet and shower facilities.
The nearest pub is the Marquis of Granby and the closest shop is Londis, both are a four minute drive away. The site is just over a mile from the village of Ipstones.

Things to do on site and in the Stoke on Trent area
For animal lovers, there are a whole host of farm yard friends for you to meet including cows, pigs, sheep and llamas. Some may even end up being your neighbour depending on where you pitch your tent!
The site is surrounded by peaceful countryside and you have the Peak District National Park with its breathtaking landscapes just a ten minute drive away. Keen walkers will be spoilt for choice.
For families you have plenty nearby to keep you busy, this includes fun parks such as Alton towers just ten minutes away and Waterworld 30 minutes away.
If you're a keen fisher there is Millbrook Fisheries 15 minutes away which is known for its carp.
