Buxton hosts Poole’s Cavern and Country Park, the ultimate all-weather attraction. Take a tour with an expert guide into a chamber of crystal stalactites and stalagmites, venture into Grimlow Woods and reach the magic of Solomon’s Temple. Here you'll want to investigate the visitor centre and then take to the heights of Go Ape’s highest adventure course.

A short drive south will allow you to visit the atmospheric Axe Edge Moor or a short drive west will get you up the Shining Tor which is a great place for taking in more superb views. Your next stop could be nearby Bakewell or you might love a stop in Manchester's vibrant city centre even more.
