A note from the site themselves...
We as parents have directly experienced the way a disabled person can be invigorated by the countryside from our own son, Jake, who has enjoyed many adventures in our campervan. It is with this in mind that we have taken particular consideration to the facilities we offer and their ability to be used by those who are able and those who are less able.
Our site has the mantra, feel the grass between your toes. We want guests to come and enjoy our wonderful part of South Wales and truly just enjoy the outdoors! Mandy, Mark and Jake

Lovely site. Owner was friendly and helpful when we struggled to find our pitch. There was a map but we hadn't looked it properly, at a second glance it was quite simple.
The site was clean and tidy, water available close to our pitch. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy though we didn't use the shower as were heading home.
Lovely walks around the area and not to far from the beaches.
Definitely on my list to return if we are in the area again.
A pleasant campsite with flat pitches, good facilities and a friendly, helpful owner.

Very clean, lovely place to stay.
The owner was so welcoming and the campsite was set out perfectly. Our first holiday with our 1 year old couldn't have gone any better.
We will definitely be returning maybe to stay in a pod next time for longer.

Things to do on site and in the Flemingston area
There's so much to see on this part of coast! After the ruins and stepping stones of twelfth century Ogmore Castle (20 minutes), follow the pathway to the village of Merthyr Mawr backed by a maze of spectacular sand dunes, over 300 species of flower and the Big Dipper, the biggest sand dune in Europe - and bring a sledge (really).
A couple of days in Cardiff (30 minutes) are a must to see sights such as Cardiff Castle, Llandaff Cathedral, the National History Museum at St Fagans, the National Museum and Gallery of Wales. Be sure to also visit Cardiff Bay for some boat spotting!
For Gavin and Stacey lovers, a trip to Barry (15 minutes) is the perfect way to spend the day. Enjoy the attractions at Barry Island Pleasure Park, see Marco's Cafe or take a dip in the sea.
Other attractions include:
Llantwit Major Beach (10 minutes)
Dyffryn House (20 minutes)
Llanerch Vineyard (25 minutes)
Castell Coch (35 minutes)
Millennium Stadium (35 minutes)
