About Lynmouth Holiday Retreat
This award winning holiday park enjoys sea views over the Bristol Channel that are nothing short of spectacular! Nestled in the picturesque Exmoor National Park, the site is ideal for a getaway and also a haven for furry friends, being a very dog friendly destination. For campers, there are a range of options that cater to every preference. Guests can enjoy a traditional camping experience on non electric or electric grass and hardstanding pitches, each named with a touch of charm - Valley View, Bay View, Beggar's Field, Rabbit Field, or The View. And don't worry about size, all pitches generously allow up to six. Alternatively, there are glamping options too. The two camping pods each sleep up to two people in a double bed with all linen provided, however please bring your own towels and cooking facilities. Inside you'll also have a sofa, small dining table, bedside tables and outside there is picnic bench seating with incredible views. Or, choose one of the stargazer Lotus Belle Tents, with windowed ceilings this makes for a romantic choice for two in a proper double bed. Bedding is again provided, but please bring towels. There are cosy furnishings including side tables, cushions and a rug, as well as a small dining table, heater, fridge and kettle. Outside are two deck chairs on your own decking, plus picnic bench seating on your own lawn area. One of each of the bell tents and pods allows dogs, whilst the others do not. There are also a number of static caravans and holiday lodges available onsite. Whether you choose to relax on-site, explore the nearby beaches, or dive into the wonders of North Devon, boredom is simply not an option! Furry companions are welcome on all camping and touring pitches, along with one of the bell tents and a couple of pods. There are even designated areas for dogs to roam off the lead and a convenient dog shower. Campfires and fire pits are not permitted, BBQs must be raised off the ground. The site also offers a range of static caravans and holiday lodges onsite.

Onsite facilities include a heated toilet block, free showers with hot water, a laundrette, disabled access facilities, a washing up point with an eco-friendly dishwasher, free WiFi, and a dog shower. There's also free hairdryer and razor points as well as a book swap. There is a great shop for all your essentials which also offers a morning bakery.
Lynton is also within a five minute drive offering a range of eateries and pubs.

My first trip in a 'new to us caravan' after a few years away from the scene. We arrived at a beautiful campsite to a warm and friendly greeting. They couldn't have been more polite. I asked about a gas refill and was told to go pitch and they would sort it out for me. Within 5 minutes, two guys were at my caravan with a new gas bottle for me. They asked if they could help with anything else and at the time I didn't think there was. Once I pitched up, I realized I didn't have the correct connection for the water tap, went down to the shop to buy a new one to find out they had just sold the last one. Well, that wasn't good enough for the guys, they lent me one of their own until I was able to replace it. Everyday they were out cutting the grass, cleaning toilets and generally keeping the site on an awesome condition. The views were gorgeous and I couldn't have asked for better. There isn't much to do on site but that isn't how it is advertised. However, because of this it has to be the quietest, most relaxing site I have ever stayed at. Would I go again, you better blooming believe it. I would fully recommend this place. Awesome doesn't come close.

Things to do on site and in the Lynton area
Whether you want coast, countryside or a bit of both, this is the ideal site for you. You're just a five minute drive of the twin towns Lynton and Lynmouth, and can easily travel between the two via the fun cliff railway with incredible views that stretch for miles over the sea. The coast itself is easily accessible too, with Blacklands Beach just a 10 minute drive away (an hour walk).
As you'll be staying in the Exmoor National Park, this is a popular area for those wanting to get outdoors. The fascinating Valley of Rocks (10 minutes) is a popular choice, as well as the waterfalls of National Trust Watersmeet forest (15 minutes).
