The site offers non electric camping and touring pitches on several camping fields. There are also two bell tents sleeping up to four each which can be furnished at an additional cost.

About the site
Situated just off the main A431, halfway between the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, Boyd Valley Lake is placed to explore many local attractions. This back-to-basics site is home to several fields with non electric grass pitches for camping and touring. Choose where to pitch, with Badger and Fox fields for tents, campervans and motorhomes and Hedgehog field for tents only. There are also two canvas bell tents onsite that sleep up to four. These are unfurnished but can be furnished with beds, bedding and blankets for an additional cost. They can be hired as a pair or individually. You'll also find a one and a half acre coarse fishing lake, with rod hire available. The lake is filled with Carp, Barbel, Bream and many more species. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and supervised at all times. BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground. Open fires are only permitted in raised fire pits and these must be hired from the site with wood.

Yes, Boyd Valley Lake is a dog friendly site. However, please note they do not accept any breeds/crossbreeds in the Dangerous Dog Act. They also don't allow any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
