About the site
This is an idyllic, peaceful spot to unwind and immerse in. The woodland is of Special Scientific Interest, home to more than 2,500 different species of flowers, fungi and fauna. The ancient woodland is protected by law and studied throughout the year by professionals and amateurs alike. The site offers large non electric grass tent pitches and can accommodate separate areas for groups of family and friends. There's plenty of wild space for pitching tents, and campers can choose where they want to be, whether it is a shady spot under the trees or in the middle of the meadow. If you are looking for glamping, choose from The Glade or The Avalon. Both consist of two bedrooms in separate cabins, a decking area and a kitchen. The Glade is suitable for up to seven guests, whilst The Avalon is suitable for up to five guests. Each comes with made up beds with all bedding and towels provided, a heater, sockets and seating areas. Woodman's is an equally charming, more secluded cabin which can sleep up to six. It has a double bed, a double mattress and two single beds. This cabin also comes with bedding, towels, a heater, sockets, seating and an outdoor kitchen. Outdoor kitchens are equipped with gas stoves for cooking, a fridge, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, glasses and mugs, and a kettle. For evenings under the stars, there are fire pits and logs available to purchase onsite. You'll be less than 30 minutes by car to Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon, Leamington Spa and Warwick. Explore the picturesque villages of Bourton-on-the-Water or Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat Farm. Sitting on the edge of Warwickshire, bordered right up against the counties of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, the location could hardly be a better hub to get away to. There are also many beautiful walks and cycle routes in the surrounding area, but if you prefer to stay onsite, there are organised group activities to book, including Bushcraft, spoon whittling, treasure hunts, and more! The site allows raised fire pits and small BBQs. Logs and firepits can be purchased onsite.
Wolford Wood is open all year round in 2025 and 2026. Pitches from £44/night for 2 people.
