About the site

A haven for nature lovers, this peaceful site is situated in wonderful walking country with the coast just a ten minute drive away. Set in the South Downs National Park, you will be spoilt with picturesque towns and villages to explore. For tent campers, there is a peaceful paddock to pitch up in, great for some quiet. There are just six, 3m x 5m non electric grass pitches, each allowing up to five people. If you are searching for a unique experience, opt for the futuristic Landpod. The quirky pod is elevated from the ground, kitted out with a double bed, single bunk bed, mattresses and a waterproof cover that can be rolled up to allow you to sleep in the open air. The site also offers two charming bell tents, ideal for a traditional camping experience with a touch of luxury. Bluebell is a 5m fully furnished tent which can sleep four with a proper double bed, two chair beds, bedding, a fire pit and an outdoor table and chairs. Daisy comes with two single airbeds and no other furnishings, allowing up to two guests. The Hampshire Hut is a modern shepherd's hut which sleeps two in a static double bed. For up to four people, the Sussex Hut comes with a built-in double bed and a handmade sofa bed that converts into a double. Both of the huts also come with a foldout table with chairs for dining, along with a wood-burning stove, logs (additional charge) and cast iron kettle for your morning brew. A camping stove and saucepan can also be provided in the cooking and eating box at an additional charge. Bedding is also provided, along with outdoor seating and a fire pit with a tripod and skillet for cooking. Guests who are using the glamping units are welcome to bring an extra tent to sleep a maximum of two adults and four children. Campers are also welcome to bring their own BBQ along, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Please note, campers must take rubbish home with them. Dogs are also welcome on the non electric grass pitches, along with all of the glamping units, so be sure to make room for your four legged friends.

Camping is available from 11th July to 14th September, Landpod is open from 23rd May and the shepherds huts are open from 4th May to 2nd November. Pitches from £50/night for 2 people.

Camping Pod - LandpodAug 2025

Was looking a for a getaway with my 2 boys, and certainly found it at Sindles Farm. Laura and the team 👍 Easy to find, washing facilities very clean. Highly recommend the Land Pod, the Bell Tent, Bluebell tent and the Shepard's hut looked good as well. Big thumbs up, planning to return summer 26.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2025

Laura & Cracker the dog were very welcoming and Laura provided lots of information for local jaunts. The campsite is very quiet (no traffic noise at all). As the price per pitch is not dependent on tent size, this is good value for money if you have a large tent. We have a very small tent, so it's not such good value. Personally, I am not keen on portaloos and the shower tray did not drain quickly so was full of water if you showered shortly after another camper. However, if you are after a very basic, quiet campsite and you have a large tent, this place may be ideal.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to review our campsite. Our pricing structure reflects that we are first and foremost farmers, and we need a simple, easy plan in order for this small, diversification project to work. I have tried to make it clear on the site description that the toilets are portaloos, I do try and keep them as clean as possible. The shower should drain normally, I wish that you had let me know whilst you were staying so that I could have fixed it. And we do have alternative bathrooms that guests can use if the camping facilitates are not working. Best wishes, Laura
