About the site
The setting is 80 acres of Whitlingham Country Park, this site is brilliantly located for enjoying the Broads National Park and the historic city of Norwich. Pitches are spacious and spread over two fields. One field is car-free and in the other one car can park by your tent. For glampers, there is the choice between boutique bell tents, spacious yurts, cosy shepherd's huts, railway carriages, glamping cabins and even treehouses! Bell tents and yurts are a great alternative to camping sleeping up to six. Whilst the shepherd's hut sleeps three with a double and single bed with a cosy wood burning stove. The stylish mezzanine family cabin sleeps up to six and has a kitchenette, ensuite toilet and living area! If you're looking for something a little more unique the site has canopy treehouses, sleeping four and equipped with an ensuite, kitchen, double bed and pull out bed with all bedding and towels provided. There are also two railway carriages available which sleep four and include a kitchen area, decking and a fire ptit! Everyone has access to excellent facilities including a wash-up area and the onsite shop. Nearby in the country park, you'll find lovely walks around the lakes and an Outdoor Education Centre with plenty of adventurous outdoor activities including canoeing, kayaking and also a dry ski slope. Trowse village is a short walk away with lots of eateries and the city of Norwich is just a short drive from the site. During the summer months the site has pop up caterers for ease.
Camping and campervans are welcome all year, as well as stays in the railways carriages and woodland dens. The bell tents are available from May to September and yurts from May to October.

Inside is a double and single bed, solar powered lighting and a wood burning stove to keep you warm and a BBQ and firepit outside. A tent can be pitched alongside for an extra fee. One medium size dog is welcome. Access to shared facilities nearby.

3 x Mezzanine Family Cabins
Max 6 people
Bespoke mezzanine cabins with two double beds and one pull out double sofa bed. Featuring a kitchenette with a cooker, hob, fridge and sink, an ensuite toilet and living area. There is also a dining table and log burner.

Feel free to check-in anytime between 2pm and 7.30pm. The site asks guests to depart by 11am on their last day for camping and by 10:30am for glamping.

The site loves dogs, just please make sure they're on their best behaviour. Please make sure dogs also remain on the lead.
Does Whitlingham Broad Campsite allow BBQs and campfires?
You are allowed BBQs on site, just please ensure they are sturdy and raised to avoid any health and safety hazards. Fire pits are allowed if raised. No disposable or single use BBQs are allowed, sorry.
Does Whitlingham Broad Campsite allow group bookings?
The site mainly caters for couples and family holidays, however, they may be able to accommodate group bookings if arranged prior.

Does Whitlingham Broad Campsite allow awnings, gazebos or pup tents?
On the upper meadow grass pitches you have the option to bring a gazebo or pup tent, sorry no awnings on these pitches. On the lower meadow pitches you can have an awning, a gazebo and a pup tent. Please add the extras you will bringing when booking.
Can I park near my pitch at Whitlingham Broad Campsite? Or Is there parking adjacent to the pitch?
You can park either in the car park of field, the staff will help advise and give you a valid parking pass for your stay. Extra cars are allowed at a cost of £5.50 per day.
