Nestled between the market towns of Banbury and Chipping Norton, this pub campsite offers a back-to-basics base for exploring the Cotswolds. The site is within easy reach of local villages, farm shops and walking trails. There are a total of 25 tent and campervan pitches, and 12 touring pitches, each unallocated without electric and suitable for up to six guests. If you want to hook up your appliances, six electric pitches are set in an open field, for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes, allowing up to six guests per pitch. Enjoy a meal in the pub, or a well-deserved pint, after taking a walk down to Hook Norton Brewery, a 30 minute stroll away. Or have a BBQ or toast marshmallows over a fire pit, as long as it is raised from the ground. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two dogs allowed per pitch. Do note that restaurant booking is a must to be guaranteed a table, and the pub does not serve food on Mondays or Tuesdays. The site also hosts a range of events and live music bands in the pub garden and field, and there is an industrial site next door, which can be noisy in the mornings.
