About the site
Surrounded by the rolling Cotswolds countryside and charming villages, this spacious park offers an ideal base for a relaxing holiday in Oxfordshire. It is a five minute drive or 30 minute walk to Chipping Norton, with Oxford within a 30 minute drive too. For roof tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes up to 8m, there are 21 hardstanding pitches available. Located in the main area of the campsite, these pitches include a 16 amp electric hook up with mown grass strips for spacing in between. The grass pitches are set in the rally field, with 38 non electric spots for tents and roof tents. If you are in need of an electric hook up, there are an additional ten further grass pitches with 10 or 16 amp hook ups. All of the pitches allow up to six guests, with the facilities block located between the two camping areas. If you fancy something a little more sheltered, there are two rustic shepherd's huts onsite. Each is fully equipped with a king bed with bedding and towels, seating, a log burner, an air fryer and a toaster. Interiors include a flat screen TV with built in Netflix and Amazon Prime, WiFi, and soft furnishings. Outside, you can enjoy a wood-fired Japanese bath, and there is also a water point. Evenings onsite can be spent enjoying a BBQ, but please ensure these are raised from the ground. There is a handy little Waitrose a ten minute walk away for picking up supplies, with multiple restaurants within a five minute drive if you don't fancy cooking. A great location for dogs, the site allows up to three dogs per pitch. Surrounded by scenic walking trails, you and your canine companion will have many trails to explore! Onsite you will find a range of privately owned holiday homes, along with caravan storage.
