Great nights stay. Location perfect. Shout out to the lovely gentleman who was mowing the lawns when we arrived! Extremely helpful and friendly! Told us not to drive in to town (if we could walk) as there was a festival on and would find parking difficult, and a few other helpful tips! Very quiet site.
Very nice place and clean facilities, highly recommend

Great location for a base if you are exploring the Cotswolds area. Great facilities and have different food vendors on the site throughout the week & weekend. There was also a coffee van that was there in the mornings for that coffee kick. Toilet and shower blocks were clean and tidy.
Organised, clean and tidy

Nice sized pitch, handy for loos and water. However, disappointed with the road noise which is not the campsite's fault but something to be aware of if you are looking for peace and quiet. Oh and there's the planes and the cockerel :D Loos were clean and functional but a little dated. Hand-drier not working in the ladies. Would have been handy to have had a shelf in the shower area, so you need a bag to hold anything that wouldn't go on a hook or the floor, like your toiletry bag. The radio is playing constantly in the loo - which is fine, but loud? Why - especially all night? The dog field is away from the site and there are strict rules on keeping your dog on a lead and not going into the loo or shower with them. However, they were kind enough to allow us to run our dog on the rally field as there wasn't many using the field at the time. Great location for visiting some of the lovely towns in the Cotswolds.

Perfect! We had a brilliant time! Got to the park Friday evening (after normal check in times, and everything was emailed and explained what to do). Walk into chipping Norton (20 mins walk). Facilities are very clean, and everywhere was well maintained! Would definitely return!

The site is well located for Chipping Norton and surrounding area. Nicely maintained lawns and pitches. The site staff were polite and welcoming. Dog friendly. However, site was let down mainly due to very poor facilities and cleanliness of the toilet block. Given that this had to cater for all the touring pitches (60+, I believe) and a large camping field, the men's toilet had 3 toilets, 3 urinals, 3 showers and 3 sinks. When I used the sink on Saturday night at 10pm, the sinks were in poor state of cleanliness, with grime and toothpaste smears on the mirrors. These were still present at 9am Sunday morning when I used the facilities again. We reported this and the site staff agreed to attend to this. Handwashing empty in women's toilet block. I had to join a queue to use the toilets in the morning. There was no stool to place dry clothes etc in the shower cubicle. Finally, whilst the site offers Wi-Fi, this did not reach our pitch even though we weren't far from the main reception where it is located. Luckily we had our own mobile network to access WhatsApp etc but this would have been a serious issue if we had no network access and no Wi-Fi. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this part of Oxfordshire and whilst the site was well presented, the poor toilet block facilities and cleanliness and inaccessible Wi-Fi made for only a satisfactory stay.
Site's response
Hi Nauman, Thank you for staying with us and we are pleased to hear you enjoyed elements of your stay. I am sorry you found the cleanliness of shower block to be unsuitable. This is something we are usually well reviewed for. They are cleaned twice a day, morning and evening, however both cleans seemed to be outside of the hours you were using. Sometimes when the site is busy there can periods in between when items may need addressing and I am pleased to hear our staff attended to your concerns once you raised them. We do provide stools inside of the men's and ladies shower areas, as well as hanging space within each cubicle to hang your clothes, however if the stools were not present or the hanging hooks not clearly enough marked then please do accept my apologies. You are correct in that whilst we do offer free WIFI and the majority of pitches enjoy good access, there are areas of the site where the signal is weaker than others. We are looking into this to see how we can ensure every pitch is able to access a strong WIFI signal. We do hope you will consider staying with us again, and look forward to welcoming you back should you chose to do so. Kind regards, CH Team

Simple, secure, roomy. For grounds being looked after full marks, shower and toilets plus other facilities first class. Very friendly site. 10/10.

Very peaceful when we stayed. Facilities are very clean and tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly. Took us 30 minutes to walk into the centre of Chipping Norton with our dog. There's a path once you come to the main road near the campsite but be careful when you come out of the campsite as traffic came round the corner very fast. We caught the 801 bus to Burton on the water and Stow on the wold one day which we caught from the middle of the town opposite the Town Hall.

The only (very minor) downside was the background music and inane DJ chatter over the PA system in the toilet blocks! Superfluous, unless the purpose is to encourage campers not to take too long to do their business, so they don't hang around there too long! The Wi-Fi could be stronger too - maybe more routers would be helpful? Otherwise, the campsite provided what we needed perfectly, including very helpful staff.
Amazing!

We were welcomed with a smile and shown on a map where our pitch was. Staff were always on hand and felt nothing was too much trouble for them. A member of staff came to our pitch around an hour later to see if we were happy and needed anything. A staff member came and told the children that they were doing a game of football on the field, thus made the children feel welcomed. The site was well maintained. The bathrooms were always clean with plenty of soap and toilet rolls. The shower block was always warm and the radio playing was a lovely touch. Great location for Banbury, Chipping Norton & surrounding villages. There's an Aldi 5 minutes drive from the site. Diddly Squat Farm was only 10 minutes away.
Friendly, peaceful, well equipped

We've enjoyed a lovely stay at this well kept site. The facilities are warm, all the hot water you could need and the added bonus of a radio which I loved. The laundry room has two large washers and 1 dryer, paid by tokens from the office, comparable price to local launderettes. Large dog walking field onsite and well placed for a walk to a local Waitrose or Aldi to pick up groceries. The site is a great starting point for exploring the area with good transport links including trains into London. The staff are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they are so friendly and look after the site with care. Added bonus a great mechanic has a workshop on site for servicing of vans and cars, helped us out with a new clutch. Would highly recommend this little gem in a beautiful area of the UK.

Absolutely brilliant. Do not know about extra money for dogs and a awning. Seems a bit grabbing. But on the whole it was a brilliant site. The site staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The on-site amenities were superb.

Lovely well maintained site. Toilet blocks kept clean and well maintained, little shop sells essentials. Friendly campers, quite a few seasonal pitches as is normal nowadays. All pitches flat and level, grass pitches seem well drained, but it was a dry spell when we visited. Lovely area to visit and will definitely go again.
