About the site

A peaceful site located in Anglesey on a working farm, home to chickens, sheep, horses, and ponies. You may even be able to collect fresh eggs for your breakfast or join in feeding the friendly horses! Choose from a range of spacious pitches, including electric grass, electric hardstanding, fully serviced hardstanding, and premium hardstanding options. All pitches include 10 amp electric and water hookups and are suitable for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Onsite facilities include a kids' play area. Staying at the site, you'll be well placed to explore Anglesey with easy access to the A5 and A55. Popular attractions like Snowdonia, Caernarfon Castle and Anglesey Sea Zoo are within 30 minutes, and Pili Palas Nature World is just 15 minutes away. With scenic walking and cycling routes nearby, family attractions close by, and sandy beaches just a ten minute drive away, it's ideal for couples, families, and solo travellers alike. Up to three dogs are welcome, with a dog field for four-legged visitors to stretch their legs. The site permits BBQs however, campfires are not allowed.

For dining out, Tafarn Y Rhos is just a five minute drive away and serves a range of meals, including full English breakfasts, burgers, steaks, and salads, along with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A local Premier shop is also a five minute walk from the site for any essentials.

Beautiful brand new site. Very friendly and warm welcome. The owners are lovely to chat to and it's so nice to see their hard work and dedication of building the site flourishing. The site was full with people coming and going. Location was perfect for us as we travelled on and off finding things to explore. The toilet block is very good, better than some sites we've been on. The designated areas are great, a little dog area, play area, football area. You can walk freely around the site and take in the views, visit the horses and sheep. You can buy the eggs fresh from the lovely chickens on site. Perfect to sit and relax whilst watching the planes go over or perfect to pitch up and explore the area. There is also the option for electric or non electric. Plenty of variety from car campers, tents of all sizes to big motorhomes.

We were really impressed by the standard of the facilities at this site, really impressive. Beautiful showers and plenty of room. They also have a utility room with laundry facilities along with a kettle, microwave, freezer and fridge. The man that greeted us was very friendly and helpful and offered us advice on places to visit.

Site rules

Check-in is available from 2pm until 8pm, if you are going to be delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 11am on your last day.

Absolutely! Up to three dogs are welcome to join you for your stay. The site just asks that dogs are kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended.

BBQs are welcome as long as they are raised from the ground, but sorry open fires are not permitted.

This site caters for families and couples only, and does not accept group bookings of 3+ pitches unless by prior arrangement. Hen and stag parties are also not accepted, sorry.

Yes, the site operates a quiet policy between 10pm and 8am.

Awnings are permitted free of charge, but sorry no gazebos or pup tents.

You can park one car by your pitch, any additional cars must be parked in the designated area.

Pitches have a 10 amp electric hook up.

Electric is included in the price of your booking.

Facilities

Sorry there is no WiFi at this site, but it gives you a chance to enjoy some time away from your screens.

There isn't a shop onsite but there is a Premier shop just a five minute walk away!

There isn't a restaurant or cafe onsite but just a five minute drive away is Tafarn Y Rhos which serves a range of food from breakfast to dinner.

There isn't anywhere to fish onsite, but a 20 minute drive will take you to Breakwater Country Park with a fishing lake.

The closest train station is Ty Croes, a ten minute drive from the site. There are also a few bus stops within walking distance.

Things to do on site and in the Holyhead area

Anglesey is an island, so the coast is always a big draw. You may like to seek out natural attractions like South Stack island for breathtaking views (25 minutes drive), head to Traeth Benllech Beach (25 minutes) or Newborough Beach (30 minutes), or take a boat ride from Beaumaris (25 minutes) to Puffin Island.

For walkers, there's always the option of a walk along the Anglesey Coastal Path (15 minutes), which stretches 135 miles long. The colourful surroundings of former copper mine Parys Mountain (30 minutes) are also lovely to walk through, or you could head to Newborough (20 minutes) to walk through the pine forest to the beach and out to Ynys Llanddwyn.

Breakwater Country Park is a 20 minute drive and has a lake for fishing, scenic views, and several walking routes, even places to stop and have a picnic. Beaumaris Castle (25 minutes) and Plas Newydd House and Gardens (20 minutes) are great historic buildings to visit. For family days out, try Pili Palas Nature World (15 minutes) or GreenWood Family Park (25 minutes).
