The site is surrounded by glorious hiking trails with the quaint village of Kettlewell just a five minutes walk away with pubs and shops for your convenience!

About the site
This tranquil site is ideal for those looking for some peace and quiet. Far from the bustle of cities, the only sounds you're likely to hear here are the chirping of birds, the buzzing of bees and the trickle of the River Wharfe. Being in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, you will also be spoilt for choice with great walking and cycling routes. For tent campers, there are five grass pitches available, each measuring a spacious 10m x 10m. Each pitch welcomes up to two guests to ensure the site is not too busy, and also comes with the option of a 16 amp hook up. There is also one hardstanding pitch for those travelling in a small campervan. The hardstanding pitch measures 10m x 7m and also allows up to two guests, with the option of a 16 amp electric hook up too. Fancy camping but don't have a tent? No problem, choose the simple, comfortable heated camping pods with a double bed, kettle, toaster, USB charging, under-counter fridge, induction hob and utensils. Please bring your own bedding, towels, cooking and washing up utensils. Each of the pods also comes with a decking out front, along with an outdoor table and chairs for al fresco dining. The pods are also set in a separate area from the tents so everyone has plenty of space. BBQs are also permitted, as long as they are raised from the ground and off the decked area. Please note, open fires are not allowed. Ideal for couples or solo campers, this adult only site does not accept groups. Please do not book as separate couples to then create a group. Sorry, no visitors are allowed onsite. Sorry, pets cannot stay.

Arrived at the campsite and it was in a beautiful location with 6 designated pitches with electric points. Straight away we could tell that the campsite site was well maintained. They are 2 chickens onsite who are extremely friendly (especially when you have food). The toilets and showers were very clean and there is a sink area where you can wash your pots which are equally as clean. We hadn't brought our outside electrical adaptor, but the owner was happy to lend us one for our stay. This is a very quiet site as its adults only and the only noise you get is from the sheep and birds. I would highly recommend this campsite.

This was our second trip to Wharfe Camp and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sean is a great host and will take good care of you. The site is immaculately clean and is well situated just out of Kettlewell. This is a quiet site and ideal to chill out and relax, listening to the sounds of nature. This works well because all guests keep to the rules and everyone has a brilliant time relaxing in a stress free environment.

Great campsite and staying in the Pod was lovely, had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the mattress was too soft for me so after two nights, I had quite a bit of back pain so we actually came home early. Whilst the evenings were really quiet, we found the noise from the road quite loud during the day on the weekend. If you are out hiking or swimming, this most likely wouldn't both you. A stunning area and the views are amazing.
