About the site
Nestled into an old quarry and surrounded by woodland, this adult only glamping site is a hidden gem in North Yorkshire with easy access to the Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors. There are also a range of country pubs within a five minute drive, with Richmond just 15 minutes away too. All of the pods sleep up to two with a cosy double topped with a Yorkshire made mattress and bedding. You will also have a Smart TV with a DVD player, perfect for a cosy evening watching a film. Each ensuite will also have a flushing toilet, shower, hand basin, a heated towel rail and towels. A fully equipped kitchenette provides you with everything you need for cooking up a tasty meal. It includes a fridge, freezer box, two ring hob, sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, glassware, dinnerware, pots, pans and utensils. Step outside of the pods and you will find a private patio area with a dining table and chairs, with The Quarry pods also coming with two Nordic deck chairs. For cooking al fresco, each pod has its own fire pit with a grill, and you will even have a pre-heated Finnish wood-fired hot tub for unwinding under the stars! The 11 pods are split into two areas, with The Foxwood being pet friendly and The Quarry being pet free. The Foxwood pods feature a dining table and chairs with an electric panel heater and ensuite wet room, whilst The Quarry pods have a modern renovated interior with velvet bench seating, two electric panel heaters and a luxury bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower. Guests can enjoy a relaxing walk around The Meadow or take down a glass of wine to enjoy from one of the picnic benches. For ultimate luxury, hire The Sauna with its own outdoor deck with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. Completely private, it is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors in style. Campfires are welcome in the fire pits provided. The pet friendly pods allow up to two dogs per unit, with dog tie rings featured under the canopy.
