Fantastic

Great stay, new toilet block kept very clean. Facilities very good - washing machines, washing up room, Wi-Fi, freezer and fridge. Ideally located on NC500. Site is flat and sheltered. Dog loved the walks by the river.

Excellent campsite right on NC500

Thoroughly recommend this site. Excellent facilities in picturesque and quiet part of Wick, close to town along a pretty riverside walk. Greg went to lengths to sort my inadvertent double booking really promptly. Lovely stay.

Lovely campsite, really friendly staff and the facilities were very clean. Best site I've stayed one for the facilities plus, Wick is a short walk.

A really lovely spot by the river with very clean, warm, modern new facilities. A short walk along the river track to town. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Peaceful, spotlessly clean campsite

Absolutely spotless, beautiful new shower block with piped music giving privacy and comfort. Washing up and laundry areas were again spotless and no expense spared units.

Fantastic stay

Excellent location beside the river, within walking distance to the town. Fabulous facilities - showers, toilets, hairdryers, dishwashing facilities, all with central heating and good supplies of hot water. Daily van on site providing takeaway options for those that want a change from cooking. Would recommend this site, it's worth every penny!

Great campsite

Great campsite, well maintain and the facilities were extremely clean. Wick itself is limited in what it offers with extremely limited options to eat out.

Great stay

I had the best time at Wick River Campsite. The Campsite is well located, along the river. The facilities are brand new and of a very good standard. It almost felt like home! I definitely recommend.

Superb site

Great little site in a quiet location by the river. Amazing new showers & toilets, the best we've seen! The site is well kept & a short drive from shops. It was everything we needed, and dog friendly too!

Good location with excellent facilities.

The brand new facilities block is excellent and was kept clean throughout our stay. Even had secure phone charging available. There were plenty of bins and fresh water points. A few minutes walk into town along the riverside path. A good sized pitch for our van and awning. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely, friendly site. Was greeted with a warm welcome. Very quiet and peaceful and the toilets and showers were spotless. Would recommend this place 😁

Excellent. The facilities were amazing! First time campervanners and our hook up lead wasn't long enough, rookie mistake! No problem, staff very helpful and let us borrow one for our stay.

Nc500 campsite

Park located next to the river, a short stroll into town, not much there to see. Pub is fine for a drink and a bite to eat. Campsite is well laid out with a relaxed atmosphere, the new toilet block wasn't open yet so we had temp toilets and showers, which were ok. Facilities will be 5 star when they are open. A good place to stop for a night while doing the Nc500.

Very nice site

The site was lovely and the facilities were okay, but the clientele were not as respectful of the facilities as they should be. I felt sorry for whoever's job it was to clean them. They are having a brand new shower block built. Let's just hope that the paying customers are more respectful of this and leave it clean, ready for whoever needs to use it following them. Can't fault the owner, really nice gentleman and very obliging.

Love this campsite!

I really do like this site. Easy to find, easy check in, great layout, spanking new shower & toilet facilities. A fully serviced site right next to the river. Electric points, grass or hard plots, dog friendly, everything you could need. Site manager, so friendly and very helpful.

Very good

Good site- close to Wick so can walk and get dinner if needed. Massive bonus was loads of wild bunny's everywhere which is very cute 🥰

Lovely site

Mostly flat site on the bank of the river. We had to use alternative entrance due to low railway bridge on main approach. Friendly welcome. A 10 minute stroll along the river brings you into Wick centre. The site is tidy and the facilities spotless. Don’t be put off by the temporary facilities-they are excellent.

Gordon's stay in Wick

The campsite was fine, although the facilities block was not finished but there was only two porta blocks for the whole site. The weather wasn't good either.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay overall. Our new facilities block is very close to completion and will have more than 6 toilets and 6 showers for the site. Unfortunately in Scotland, you can see all four seasons in one day, my fingers are crossed for a week of sunshine in July.
