About the site

This peaceful site is located in the small village of Rudgwick in West Sussex. Ideally located in the countryside, you're not too far from the coast (around 45 minutes) and the exciting towns of Cranleigh and Horsham, both around 15 minutes away. The site is home to 50 grass pitches, with the non electric pitches measuring 8m x 9m and the 10 amp electric pitches measuring 9m x 8m. All welcome tents only, with a maximum of six guests per pitch. The camping field also has a small play park and trampoline, so kids can play freely whilst you unwind at your pitch. For days out, you will be spoilt for choice. National Trust Nymans and Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens are both within a 30 minute drive, offering scenic gardens and grounds to explore. Or, for fun-filled days by the coast, head to Brighton or Worthing (within a 45 minute drive) with piers and seaside attractions! In the evening, you can cook dinner over the BBQ (as long as it is raised from the ground), or borrow a fire pit from the site and toast marshmallows. Dogs are welcome, with up to three permitted per pitch.

The site is open May bank holidays, every weekend from 29th May and then 20th until 31st August. Stay from £30/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Perfect location for Thorpe Park and the South Coast. It was very quiet for our stay as we arrived just after bank holiday weekend. Very clean shower and toilet facilities. The site is well maintained and situated in stunning, peaceful countryside. I had two happy teenagers and an extremely happy little dog on the journey home. Thank you.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

The owners were extremely friendly and very accommodating. The electric was intermittent but they did everything to help rectify it. The site was well maintained but could have done with a few more showers and washing up sinks. However, this was indicated by the owner when we arrived so we worked round it by going at the less busier times.
