About the site

The park is in a sheltered valley location and has been landscaped and terraced. The pitch areas are separated by hedges and trees into different areas - named after animals and wildlife you are likely to be able to spot here at Treloy. Pitches are a generous size, averaging 10 metres by 12 metres, and are mostly level or on a slight slope to help drainage. Some pitches are a different shape but still average approximately 120 metres squared. The park can generally accommodate any size and shape of family tent. Choose from grass (with or without electric) and serviced hardstanding pitches to suit tourers. Up to two dogs are welcome to join your stay, and can enjoy the dog exercise area and doggy shower to wash sandy or muddy paws. Please note that fires are not permitted, charcoal and gas BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised from the ground. The site has bricks available for disposable BBQs.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

It is a lovely campsite with a generous pitches. All facilities in a very good condition and clean. I liked the football pitch, games room, pub/bar/restaurant, ironing room, swimming pool. It is a very good place as a base for visiting surrounding area. It is a shop, on the site but we were missing fresh baked bread/rolls/baguettes. The swimming pool could be open up to 8 so you could use it after your day trip. On the swimming pool it could be a member of staff (at least from time to time) to remind (children) about general rules. As much, as I like children, having some of them jumping on my head is not what I like. Maybe offer a session for this/or split swimming pool in halves? All members of staff were very friendly and helpful. This campsite is worth a visit :)

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

We booked a last minute camping trip, when we say last minute, booked Tuesday night and arrived Friday morning - no tent, no camping equipment and never camped as a family before. As you could imagine, we worried all the way thinking about the disaster we had ahead of us with a 4 year old and 1 year old. However, upon arrival, reception staff were very friendly and explained everything we needed to know. The pitch was easy to find following the map given and when we arrived, the pitch was bigger than we expected. Easy access to drinking water and electric hook up. Then the facilities were a short walk away, toilets, washing machines, sinks for washing dishes, showers, bar, shop, park and an outdoor heated pool. Everything was very well maintained and the cleanliness was great. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was great and had a great trip. We've now been converted into campers and will be returning next year.
