About the site
Nestled in the Berkshire countryside, this adult only getaway is ideal for couples or solo travellers looking to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle. Set within a dark sky reserve, spend evenings under the stars and wake up to the resident Percheron horses grazing nearby. Surrounded by Cranborne Chase National Landscape (AONB), the area is perfect for walking or cycling routes. Cranborne Chase Cider is also 20 minutes away, where you can sample some of the best local craft cider. There are three beautifully restored 18th-century gypsy caravans designed for two guests. Inside, there are cosy double beds, vintage furnishings, and a camper's kitchen with cooking equipment. Bedding and towels are included. Outside, each caravan has its own fire pit and a traditional cauldron for al fresco dining. The historic market town of Shaftesbury is a ten minute drive away, home to Gold Hill Museum, or visit Salisbury in 35 minutes for a day of sightseeing, shopping, and dining. Please note this is a pet free site. Charcoal, gas, and electric BBQs are not permitted, so please use the fire pit and cauldron provided.
