This family run site sits amongst stunning woodland with 60 pitches across two camping fields - each totalling approximately four acres. Plenty of electric pitches to be had! The main field is the larger of the two and can accommodate tents, caravans and motorhomes. Hardstanding pitches are in the main field with a 16 amp electric hook up welcoming caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Some pitches here also include your very own private shower room by the pitch! The second field is where you'll find the coarse fishing lake. This area is suitable for tents and caravans with some electric pitches available. If you'd rather not stay in your own unit, you'll find a set of stylish bell tents sleeping four here and even a luxurious bell tent with its own private ensuite. If you fancy something a little cosier, Hazel, Holy, and Magnolia are the ensuite lodges. These are equipped with a double bed, a TV, a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, and heating. Outside is a veranda with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included in your stay With swish interiors and a compact but modern style, the cabin style lodges are a great choice - and each has self-contained facilities. Dogs welcome.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

Friendly welcome. Pitch was level hardstanding (gravel). Enclosed on all but one side by other pitches. On the side not enclosed, we had showers and toilets. Felt very noisy and busy. Lots of kids running around. Firepits allowed despite the hot, dry weather with no visible fire extinguishers. Separate toilets and showers, each with individual external doors, often short queue for toilet. Toilets and showers very clean. Pizza from onsite restaurant very nice and reasonable price. Paid £22 for Internet. It kept dropping out and numerous reconnections needed. Staff very friendly. We stayed only one night out of two booked. Too busy and crowded for us.

Happy campers

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

We had a great welcome, lovely pitch with water supply outside each plot so no lugging heavy containers. Lovely toilet and shower block and as many of the static plots had ensuites there was never a queue for the showers. Great little hut with coffee machine microwave and freezers with lots of games, books and DVD's to borrow.. There's also a washer and dryer available. We had a lovely walk through the woods, ordered croissants one morning and enjoyed camping in the sunshine and watching the bunnies in the evening. Thoroughly recommend 👌 x

A note from the site themselves...

Bluebell Coppice Park, formerly Brakes Coppice Park, has been a campsite for over 30 years. Myself, Des, and my wife Jules came to stay here when we were looking for a house in the area. Like our guests, we fell in love with the park, the lake, and the woodlands but saw great potential!

After talking to the owners, we discovered that the park was for sale so, instead of buying a house, we bought the campsite. The park now has woodland lodges, glamping bell tents and pitches with private bathrooms, and we have some exciting plans for the future.

Bluebell Coppice Park is ideal for...

Couples
Older children (13+)
Peace and quiet
Young children
