About Syke Farm Campsite
Located in Buttermere, a peaceful village with panoramic surroundings and plenty of walks for everybody, the site is your ideal base for exploring this charming area within the Lake District. Choose from grass pitches for tents and small campervans or select one of the two 16ft yurts nestled in their own area of the campsite. The yurts come fully equipped with beds, a log burning stove, and a solar pack for lights and USB charging. Pets welcome.

Site facilities include toilet block with shower in the men's and a shower in the women's. There is also a shelter with shower and toilet. All showers onsite cost 50p for five minutes of hot water.
Keswick is a popular small market town located about 10 miles away and offers outdoor shops, cafes and pubs.

Things to do on site and in the Buttermere area
Buttermere is a quiet village with two pubs and two cafes all within walking distance (two minutes walk).
If you would like to venture a bit further afield, Buttermere Lake and Crummock Water are both 10-15 minute walks from the campsite. There are lots of walks in the area suited for everybody too. Red Pike, Haystacks and Robinson are all very popular mountains just on your doorstep.
