About the site

This well-located, peaceful, touring park is right on the Essex coast, with easy access to both Brightlingsea and the local sandy beach. The site is based on the edge of a boating lake, with some pitches right next to the water. The touring park welcomes tents, trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes, all on spacious electric hardstanding pitches measuring 11m by 4.5m. Each pitch has a 10 amp hook up and a grass space for an awning, pup tent or gazebo. Please note that trailer tents are only allowed on the lake view pitches. The site is also home to several holiday homes. Just a five minute stroll away is Brightlingsea Lido, perfect for making a spash on sunny days! For rumbling tummies, the Lido also has a dog friendly cafe serving hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and more. Or take to the water on a relaxing boat trip at the harbour, a ten minute walk away. Be sure to bring binoculars as it's a great spot for birdwatching! For adventures slightly further afield, enjoy a wild trip to Colchester Zoo, just a 35 minute drive away, or soak up the sun on a traditional seaside day out at Clacton-on-Sea with a pier, fun park and sandy beach (25 minutes). Dogs are more than welcome, with up to two pups allowed per pitch. BBQs are also permitted, but these must be raised off the ground.
