About the site
Escape the hustle and bustle at this friendly farm in Herefordshire on the border of Wales. With the stunning backdrop of the Black Mountains and easy reach to Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye. There is a large variety of grass pitches to choose from, none of which have electric. They vary from allowing six to ten people and some are even set alongside the river. They accommodate tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. There are three furnished bell tents sleeping up to six with luxury bedding. These are spacious and sleep up to six people on comfy beds with linen provided, as well as lanterns, cosy throws and seating provided. The perfect choice for those wanting to avoid any hassle. An ideal spot for ramblers, you'll have direct access to Offa's Dyke and be a short distance to the stunning Brecon Beacons. Back on-site, you'll also find plenty of woodland walks with a peaceful river running through that are great for those morning strolls. Dogs are welcome.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We paid for the riverside and mountain view pitches and it didn't disappoint! The views were stunning and the river was the perfect spot for the children, adults and the dog. We used The Stables fish and chip shop (would recommend calling to pre order before collecting!) Which was a 12 min drive away. The facilities were clean, the showers were warm and there was always toilet roll and soap too. John was super helpful, and checked in to make sure everything was okay too. Thank you, looking forward to returning again!

Back for a second time. John remembered us and gave us a warm welcome. Such a beautiful location a long way from a main road. Perfect location for camping whilst paragliding or hiking the Offa's path. Will be back again.

Very enjoyable stay, surrounded by lovely countryside. The sky on a clear night was amazing for star gazing and you could hear the owls calling to each other. John was very friendly and his site was very well kept.
