About the site

Just minutes from the coastline is this secluded farm, with two small and independent pitching areas and nestled on the beautiful Northumberland coast. Set on a 600 acre working farm between the seaside villages of Beadnell and Seahouses, you'll find carefully planned camping and touring areas to provide privacy and comfort. For families, The Farm Site is ideal with its family oriented grass pitches, which include 16 amp optional electric. These pitches are for all kinds of units, from tents to caravans and motorhomes. If you're on a couple's getaway in your tourer and want to enjoy the tranquillity, choose The Walled Garden, which is an adult only space made up of eight hardstanding pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups. The site accepts any membership of a recognised camping and caravanning organisation on both sites, but will need to see proof of membership before arrival. Well behaved dogs are allowed on site. They must be kept on leads at all times. Fire pits or campfires are not permitted. BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground.

The Walled Garden is usually open from the middle of March to the middle of November. The Farm Site is open from the end of April until the end of September.

The Walled Garden's pitches have access to a unisex toilet and shower, wash basins and a kitchen sink.

There is also shared access to a separate heated male and female shower block and coin operated laundry room for both the Walled Garden and Farm Site, as well as a kitchen area with sinks and small freezer.

There are two fresh drinking water taps, Elsan and grey waste disposal points in the field too.

You'll also find a trailer serving coffee and cake with an outdoor seating area, open seasonally.

An excellent golf course is next to the farm, while horse riding is also very close. It's just 20 minutes on foot to great pubs and restaurants.

A note from the site themselves...

Our family have run Annstead Farm for the last 30 years, rearing cattle, sheep and growing crops. We have also always welcomed tourists to stay in our 9 self-catering cottages or on our two small sites.

Our daughter now also runs The Lazy Cow coffee and cake trailer (all home made!) here on the farm perfect for that morning cuppa.

We are lucky enough to live in a spectacular part of Northumberland and urge you to come and explore.....

Site rules and policies

*The site accepts members of any recognised camping/caravanning organisation on both sites but will need to see proof of membership prior to arrival.

*No fire pits or campfires are permitted. BBQs are allowed but must be raised off the ground.

*Awnings must have breathable ground sheets to protect the grass.

*Arrival is from 1pm onwards

*Departure is no later than midday.

Things to do on site and in the Beadnell area

Only a stone's throw from the site is the beautiful Annstead Beach. There are sandy beaches to explore and sweet seaside towns to discover, such as Seahouses and Beadnell, located on either side of Annstead Farm, a 20 minute walk from the site.

If you're in the mood for some magic, you're in the right place. It's just ten minutes to Bamburgh Castle, and an easy 25 minute ride leaves you at Alnwick Castle, scene of Harry Potter's magical misadventures in the films.
