About the site

Situated in the Dorset National Landscape, the site offers a fantastic base for exploring Weymouth (10 minutes), the Jurassic Coast (10 minutes), and Dorchester (20 minutes). After a day of adventuring, enjoy an evening meal at the onsite bar and restaurant, and soak up the stunning sea views of Chesil Beach from the outdoor seating area. Campers can choose from four non electric grass pitches or 14 electric grass tent pitches. Caravans and motorhomes can pitch up on one of the electric grass pitches, or opt for a fully serviced grass touring pitch complete with electric hook up and chemical disposal point. For those after a little extra comfort, fully equipped holiday lodges are also available for hire. With plenty of activities and attractions nearby, you'll be well placed for family days out. Head to the sandy shores of Weymouth Beach just ten minutes away, or explore Chesil Beach, only a 15 minute drive. For quiet nature walks, The Blue Pool is a peaceful spot just 45 minutes away, offering scenic trails and natural beauty. Dogs are welcome. BBQs are permitted, please ensure they are raised off the ground. Sorry, open fires are not allowed.

Onsite, there are toilets, showers, accessible facilities, sinks, and laundry. You will also find eight water points, a chemical disposal point, washing up sinks. Kids can enjoy the small play area.

If you fancy a bite to eat, The Fat Badger is the onsite restaurant and bar open Monday-Sunday 9am-11pm with food stopping at 9pm. For everyday camping essentials, there is both a Tesco and Tesco Express within a 20 minute walk.

Things to do on site and in the Weymouth area

Head to Sandsfoot Castle, just a ten minute drive away. Built in the 16th century, this historic ruin offers incredible sea views and peaceful gardens to sit and relax in. Northe Fort is also just ten minutes from the site, a popular historical landmark with a Victorian fort, exhibitions, a museum, a gift shop and more!

Weymouth Beach (10 minutes) is a top spot for sandy beach days, while Chesil Beach is only 15 minutes away and ideal for peaceful coastal walks. Drive 15 minutes to the Sea LIFE Centre, where you and the family can spot a variety of sea creatures.

History lovers should also explore the Dorset Museum and Art Gallery, home to a range of Iron Age artefacts, with a restaurant onsite for a quick bite to eat.

Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens is a peaceful escape just 20 minutes away, where you can wander through 18th century gardens filled with rare and exotic plants. The site is also set within the Dorset National Landscape, an ideal location for scenic walks, hiking, and exploring the coastal cliffs, forests, and rolling hills with a number of beautiful viewpoints to discover.
