About the site

Surrounded by the stunning Blean Woods National Nature Reserve, there's something for everyone here. Find a spot in the woodlands, camp next to the animals or pitch up in the meadow - it's your choice! There are electric and non electric grass pitches for tents and tourers, as well as four hardstanding pitches for campervans and motorhomes. There are also five grass pitches with an electric hook up for campervans, which feature your very own small garden. All electric hook ups are 10 amps. Or, if glamping is more your style, opt for the Meadow Lodge glamping cabin, which sleeps up to three and comes with a king sized bed and a single sofa bed. There is also a heater, kitchenette and bathroom. Outside is your own private garden area for relaxing. Please bring your own bedding and towels. If you fancy a bite to eat, head to Arby's Cafe onsite, serving a range of tasty meals, hot and cold drinks, plus a selection of woodfired pizzas on Fridays and Saturdays. Relaxing evenings can be spent at the Rural Retreat wellness area, equipped with a wood-fired hot tub, a wood-fired sauna, and a cold plunge! Guests can pre book upon arrival. The owner, James, is onsite to help with any queries or local information you may need during your stay to make it even better. The site is dog friendly, they just need to be on a lead so everyone stays safe and happy. Fire pits and BBQs are allowed in the upcycled washing machine units with fire equipment that can be purchased at the onsite shop.

A note from the site themselves...

Brook Farm is more than just a campsite—it's a place where families can slow down, reconnect with nature, and make lasting memories together.

I started the site with the goal of creating somewhere relaxed, friendly, and full of little moments that kids and grown-ups alike will remember, like feeding the animals, toasting marshmallows, sharing pizza under the stars.

Watching families return year after year and seeing kids grow up with the farm as part of their summer story is what makes it all worth it. This place is built with care, and I'm proud of the community it's become.

Glamping Cabin - Meadow Lodge Glamping Cabin (Dog Friendly)Sep 2025

My husband and I had booked very last minute and stumbled across the farm. It was wonderful seeing the animals roaming free and also in their paddocks. The wood fired pizza on the Saturday night was a lovely touch too. We stayed in Meadow Lodge, and it was so cosy and smelt lovely. The bed is the perfect height for the windows so if you wake up early enough you can watch the sunrise from the comfort of your duvet. You bring your own bedding and towels, but make sure you bring a t-towel for any washing up or hand drying, I forgot those bits. There are plenty of USB ports and plugs to use. James had arranged a lovely welcome hamper with some snacks and breakfast bits for the first morning with milk, juice and butter stocked in the fridge. The shower was lovely and warm, and we felt at home right away. Our dog really enjoyed it as well. I wonder if the lodge could benefit from a few hooks on the walls to hang coats and wet towels, as it was raining quite a bit when we were there (we used the cupboard knobs for wet coats). We are already looking at dates for when we can come back for a longer trip next time.

Pleasant site

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2025

A lovely site on a working farm. Plenty of farm animals around, some loose on the site. Very friendly staff. Has all required facilities but showers were a bit tired. Wellness retreat with hot tub, cafe & pizzas at the weekend.
