Great site for visiting Tenby

Nice little site, perfect for our group of 5 with a small child. Very convenient for Tenby, Saundersfoot and other places as is just off the main road but with very little road noise.

Camping at Covert Farm

This was the first time we had stayed at Covert Farm in our motor home. We found the site owner to be very friendly and helpful. The site itself was very quiet with lovely surroundings. Shower blocks were very basic however the showers were very hot and clean. We would definitely recommend this site.

Quiet, peaceful site

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful site, this could be the one for you. We were greeted by a lovely host, who had a fountain of knowledge relating to the local area which then enabled us to explore further into the beautiful countryside. Bosherton and the lily ponds are a must see! The pitches were a good size, but don't forget your levellers our pitch was a little sloppy. The site lacked on lighting in some areas, making it very tricky to get around in the dark, especially when having to use the facilities during the night! Whilst the toilet, shower and wash facilities were okay, they could do with a little TLC and updating, often found it difficult to get any consistent flow of hot water, although it might have been our inability to follow the instructions that didn't help the situation. Again some good advice on the curry night at the Jeffreyston Inn (local pub 5 minutes walk away) sorted one nights food, very tasty.

Awesome skies, no light pollution

As we live in a built up area and rarely see the Milky Way, we were bowled over by the beautiful skies that we were treated to at night whilst staying here and loved it. The facilities were not the most luxurious and were more basic, but they were cleaned and maintained every day and were very presentable. The owner was present every day and always happy to chat and share her knowledge of the area. We were disappointed to find that the local pub, which as a gastro pub provide excellent food and Guinness, are only open Thursday - Sunday and so we had to use a local takeaway for our arrival day on the Wednesday. The takeaway food was pleasant enough, but I feel that they took the proverbial with our meal from them including delivery costing more than our meal at the pub which included drinks!

Clean and friendly campsite

Lovely and helpful owners. Great facilities. Small campsite with easy to reach attractions and we appreciated the quiet approach of other campers. Thank you.

Nice but overpriced

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a large pitch on this very quiet site. The shower and toilet blocks were very basic, with unfinished concrete floors. Overall, this site was adequate but lacked the quality of facilities and environment we would expect for the price we paid.

Hi Julie, Did you know you booked the wrong pitch as you were on a fully serviced pitch for caravans or motorhomes which had electric, Grey waste and water. Most Tents Just book electric. Will give a discount next time you come. Many thanks, Frances. 😀

Welcoming and clean

Ten minutes from Tenby. Clean, good shower and toilet facilities. Hard standing pitches were good.

A rural haven

A rural haven. Although a quiet and family run site, it has all the facilities you need and is only minutes away from so many tourist attractions. We highly recommend this site. We will be returning to visit the sites we didn't have time to see this round.

What a little gem of a campsite, so relaxing. No hassle, clean, and wonderful hosts.

Lovely, peaceful campsite

A lovely peaceful small campsite, with lots of space and good facilities.

Friendly, clean but expensive

I felt that the campsite was extremely expensive for what it was and made money including added extras, such as an additional car. We couldn't all fit into one vehicle, so this, on top of an already expensive pitch, felt like a bit of an insult. Will not be staying there again.

Fabulous camping

Really amazing stay at Covert Camping. Great location, lovely small site with grass pitches, never far to walk to toilets. Brilliant facilities, so clean and lots of little extra thoughts…hooks, mirrors, and stools to put your stuff on in the showers, quiet at night with a ban on cars after 10pm. Quick drive to lots of fabulous beaches. Frances so friendly and welcoming. We just loved it.

Nice site and well maintained

Nice site and well maintained but toilet and shower facilities are not up to much. Check in was smooth and owners are pleasant. The site is well maintained with good grass which they rest in between stays. Location is good if you want peace and quiet but not really near anything. Saundersfoot is the nearest harbour and has a really nice vibe. Of course Tenby is nearby. The only thing I wasn't really happy about was the toilet and shower facilities. They weren't the cleanest and very basic for the price. The shower water was hot though. They definitely need to upgrade the showers and toilets.

Lovely place

Really enjoyed our stay. The only reason why I didn't think it was 5 for value for money is that it was our first time booking so nothing to compare to. Handy to get to Tenby and Saundersfoot.
