Lovely site

The site is very well kept and maintained, with far reaching views to Pots and Pans Hill and monument. We were given the choice of a pitch either in the main site or at the adult only area on the opposite side of the road. We chose the main site to be able to enjoy the views! The staff were really friendly and welcoming and made pitching easy. There are great showers with a toilet in the same cubicle and where hot and clean. We had dinner at The Royal George pub which is within easy walking distance from the site. It had a great menu and is dog friendly, which was an added bonus. Highly recommend this friendly site for anyone who wants to explore the area.

Amazing campsite and lovely owners

We had an amazing pitch with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, slight inconvenience with another guest pitch however the owners were lovely and very kindly gave us extended checkout for the hassle. Facilities were the cleanest we have ever seen and were very accessible. Large pitches for caravans and tents available. Loads of walks to be able to do around due to the peaks being so close. Plenty of farm shops around and supermarkets are within short distance. Would love to of stayed longer and will be back again for a longer visit.

Nice and easy place to stay

Lovely simple place to stay, not far from Oldham. Lovely walk along the canal to Uppermill village for coffee, cake, little shops and restaurants. Good place for cyclist who want to ride hard hills!! Route is good for cyclists with good option of different routes.

Peaceful Stay in the Adult-Only Area – Perfect for the Motorhome and Dog

We recently stayed at Well-i-Hole Farm Campsite and were placed in the adult-only area, just across the road from the main site. It was absolutely lovely—peaceful, well-maintained, and ideal for a quiet getaway. The pitch itself was in excellent condition, with electric hook-up, fresh water, and a nearby Elsan disposal point that was entirely functional. As we’re fully self-contained in our motorhome, we didn’t use the on-site facilities, so can’t comment on those—but everything we needed was right at hand. One of the highlights was the surrounding area: beautiful dog walks, a picturesque canal path, and a charming village within walking distance, complete with several welcoming pubs for food and drink. It’s a great spot for those travelling with dogs or simply looking to unwind in nature. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly, and the areas of the site that we saw had a relaxed, well-cared-for feel. We’d happily return for another peaceful break. Otis’s Paw-spective 🐾 Hello, it’s Otis here, and I'm a Golden Retriever I may not have opposable thumbs, but I insisted Dad include my thoughts. I gave the pitch a full tail-wag rating—plenty of space to stretch, sniff, and snooze. The canal walk was top-notch for nose-led adventures, and I even spotted a squirrel (don’t worry, I was very restrained). The pubs were friendly too—one even kept feeding me biscuits. All in all, a pawsitively splendid stay.

Lovely few days on working farm site.

Lovely few days here glad we booked an awning as temp was very high. Please remember this is a working farm, so they do very well. Toilets and showers are fine some are better than others, maybe some have been replaced. We will be back when in area. Lovely pub just a few mins away & lots of walks to try.

Absolutely brilliant

What a fantastic camp site. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay, we wanted to stay longer but had to get back for the dog. Staff are so friendly. The facilities were brilliant, clean and easy to use. The campsite was clean, and very safe for the kids to run around. Local area was beautiful and there was so much to do, we didn't get to do it all. We will definetly be returning to this campsite , it's our new favourite spot. Fantastic!

Beautiful site

Lovely campsite, fabulous views, lovely walks nearby including a bridleway at the top of the site. Pub 2 mins walk away (dog friendly) big Tesco 5mins drive away. Showers and toilets spotless and clean. Very well kept site.

Lovely peaceful break away

I recently stayed at a Well-i-Hole farm campsite, and it was one of the best camping experiences I've ever had. The campsite was located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by rolling hills. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One of the things I loved most about the campsite was its sense of community. There were people from all over the world staying there, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We would often sit around the at night sharing stories. Another thing I loved about the campsite was its proximity to nature. I could go for long walks in the woods, or just sit by the canal and relax. It was the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. If you're looking for a unique and memorable camping experience, I highly recommend staying at a well i hole farm campsite in the UK. You won't be disappointed!
