Beautiful site

We stayed on Rockwood pitch. It's a huge set back from the lanes through the site, we pitched at the back of the pitch next to the covered kitchen/fire pit area and you felt like you were on your own in the woods. Private , quiet and sheltered from the dramatic winds we had during the stay. We really enjoyed the sheltered area, well thought out, the bench is surrounded on three sides so no issue with the winds taking the flames on the camping stove while trying to cook, bench and seating stayed dry despite the rain. You can tell the whole site has been developed by people who've actually love camp, none of the usual niggles - everything just worked and worked well. Fridges and freezer available, free firewood, charging and Wi-Fi we couldn't have asked for more and would love to return. A special mention to Emma who showed the hubby around on arrival and introduced herself when she saw me later in the stay. Friendly, helpful, you really couldn't ask for more.

Wonderful - absolute paradise

We've been visiting for 5 years staying a week each time. Trellyn is the most gorgeous valley, protected from harsh weather. Pitches are private but really well connected for kids to run to visit friends, they absolutely love it. Skies so dark you can see the milky way. Owls hoot at night. Pitches are so well thought out and the free use of kayaks, wetsuits, sauna etc is amazing. The family are wonderful and pizza night is fantastic. Absolutely the best campsite.
