Enjoy the best of both worlds at this luxury glamping site overlooking the River Wye. Offering six stylish treehouses with river views and luscious woodland surroundings, you'd be forgiven for thinking you're in a remote rural location. However, cross the river and you'll soon find yourself in the heart of Hay on Wye, a charming market town in Powys. Thanks to over 20 bookshops and annual world famous literary festival, it's often referred to as 'the town of books' - the perfect place for finding a holiday read to get lost in! While the treehouses vary in size and number of bedrooms, all come with fully-equipped kitchens, ensuite toilet and bathroom facilities, an open plan living area complete with a log burner and a private balcony decking with a firepit. The Cwtch (nicknamed 'the couple's one') sleeps only two, perfect for a romantic weekend. This treehouse is also the only glamping unit that offers guests exclusive use of the wood fired sauna sitting on the decking overlooking the river. River (nicknamed 'the big one') has three bedrooms, sleeping six people in total. One of the bedrooms contains bunkbeds. As well as being the largest unit onsite, it's also wheelchair accessible. Holly (nicknamed 'the one with the outdoor bath') sleeps a maximum of five adults and one infant. Regarding sleeping arrangements, you'll find a king sized bed in the open plan living room and a separate bedroom containing one double and one single. On the decking area outside, you'll also find a private outdoor bath. Ivy (nicknamed 'the family one') sleeps a maximum of five adults and one infant. The unit has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double and a single. Connected to the Ivy treehouse by a bridge, Ash (nicknamed 'the family one') sleeps a maximum of five adults and one infant. The unit has a king sized bed in the open plan living room and a separate bedroom containing a double and single bed. Ash and Ivy are great options for a large group of friends or two families holidaying together. However, the bridge can be locked upon request. Campfires are permitted in the firepits provided. No pets, sorry!
