About the site
Just a 15 minute walk from the scenic town of Aviemore, this peaceful site welcomes families, couples, and solo travellers. Head 10 minutes to Rothiemurchus, perfect for birdwatching and family-friendly fun with quad biking, archery, watersports and more. Campers can choose from 2m x 2m grass pitches for hikers and backpackers, or 4m x 4m non electric grass tent pitches. There are also 8m x 4m electric grass pitches, each with a 16 amp electric hook up, ideal for tents. Touring guests can pitch up on gravel pitches with a 16 amp electric hook up, suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailers, and roof tents. If you're after a bit more comfort, stay in one of five glamping pods. Each pod features a double bunk bed, ensuite toilet, shower, and wash basin, along with a fully equipped kitchenette including a hob, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, and crockery. Heating and bedding are provided. Nestled within the Cairngorms National Park, it's an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts, with hiking, cycling, and even snowboarding or skiing on Cairngorm Mountain all easily accessible. Or, take a 20 minute trip to meet and feed the UK's only free-ranging reindeer at the Cairngorm Reindeer Herd. Up to two dogs are permitted per booking. Charcoal and gas BBQs are permitted, provided they are kept off the ground. Open fires are prohibited here.

*For glamping, check-in is from 4pm. Please check out by 9:30am.
*Open fires are prohibited onsite.
*Charcoal and gas BBQs are permitted, provided they are kept off the ground. These must also be distinguished by 10pm.
*Well behaved dogs are allowed onsite with a maximum of two per pitch. Please ensure dogs are kept on their leads at all times.
